House, 4 Bedrooms + Loft, 3 Baths (Sleeps 12-14)

The newly furnished 'Dunn Family Valley View Lodge' is now ready for your family to create magic memories. This large 4,100 sq ft, four (4) bedroom, 3 bath home is near 'Heading Home Ski Run' at Angel Fire Resort. It features 2 Kiva fireplaces, one in the huge living room, and one in the extra large family/game room. You can watch the snow fall from both of our wrap around wooden decks, or watch the elk and other wild life. It is absolutely amazing to be sitting above the trees just 500 yards from the ski slopes. Our multi-level floor plan has over 4,000 square feet and is designed to comfortably sleep 12 people on real beds. The kitchen contains all the needed appliances (frost-free refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker), along with cooking utensils and dishes. I should also note that the drinking water in Angel Fire is the best I have tasted anywhere so don't worry about bringing bottled water.

Owner Description/Comments: : Year Purchased: 2010 - Our family uses this house throughout the year. We live in Texas but love the calling of the Mountains. We love skiing, hiking and in general taking things a little slower when we get to Valley View Lodge and hope you do as well.

The Valley View Lodge is located approximately four miles from the Town Center, provides easy access to the Resort's ski base. Better yet, skip the hassle of drop off and pick up with the masses at the ski base, travel up Panorama Way a few hundred yards and drop your skiers off at the 'Heading Home Ski Run'. The roads are really well maintained and snowplowed throughout the ski season, but access to our driveway is steep and requires a four wheel drive vehicle during the winter months. Our mountain home sits just minutes from the Angel Fire Resorts beautiful Championship PGA 18 hole Golf Course and the Resorts private trout filled Monte Verde Lake. Our Home is high up the mountain and may require 4 wheel drive to arrive during big snows. Our driveway is steep, but we do keep it plowed. Angel Fire truly has something for everyone.

  • All of the bedrooms are suites with full bathrooms attached. The master bedroom has an amazing rustic King Log-Bed and a Jacuzzi tub. Bedroom #2 has a beautiful Queen Bed and is separated from other areas just off of the loft. Bedroom #3 has a bunk bed (a full/twin with a twin trundle) and shares a bathroom with Bedroom #4 which has a queen size bed with a TV/VCR combo. The upstairs loft has an additional full size bed.

Notes: Minimum Age Limit for Renters. The living/dining room is an open concept with a soaring ceiling and floor to ceiling windows capturing the 'best views' on the mountain, a very nice gas fireplace (no need to lug in firewood), LCD TV, DVD/CD player. Downstairs we have a huge den/game room with several sofas, LCD TV, Stereo, Blu-Ray, and a poker table. This area has sweeping views of the valley and Wheeler peek.. The loft has a large sitting area and another 32in TV with DVD Player. The tiled entry area is perfect for getting out of your ski gear and is large enough to keep your ski boots inside (outdoor ski locker for your skis is located near the driveway). We have a nice utility room downstairs with both a washer and dryer. Pets are not allowed and we do NOT allow smoking inside the house for medical reasons.
