With breathtaking views and 2200 sq. ft of living space on the main level there's plenty of room for family fun or to slip away with a good book. The home has three bedrooms, lakeside dining room surrounded by windows, large living room, and a breezeway (3 season porch). Outside, a patio with BBQ, small deck overlooking the lake, large grassy lawns, and 100 ft. of private, sandy beach.
The large master bedroom has a bay window, king size bed, TV, and a private bathroom. There is a queen size bed in the second bedroom and a twin bed in the third. All linens are provided.
Lake Edward, one of the largest lakes in the area, is about 3 miles long by 2 miles wide, and with water clarity of 11 feet, it is also one of the clearest. The maximum depth is 76 feet; average depth is 12 feet. It has a healthy population of fish: walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, black crappie, bluegill sunfish, pumpkinseed sunfish, rock bass, yellow perch, bullhead, dogfish (bowfin), tullibee (cisco) and white sucker. The ice fishing is great!

NISSWA CITY OF LIGHTS
Nisswa welcomes the holiday season with a countdown to lighting up the town that culminates with a fireworks display Friday, Nov. 29. The downtown area lights up all at once at 5:30 p.m., with holiday lights adorning trees and fences, stores and other buildings. Festivities for the annual event begin in the afternoon with horse-drawn wagon rides, storytelling, food merchants, bonfires, hot cider and donut holes at the Pioneer Village and holiday carolers. After the countdown to turning on all the lights, Santa Claus makes an appearance and fireworks shoot up over town at 7:30 p.m.
ICE FISHING. The Brainerd Jaycees 2014 $150,000 Ice Fishing Extravaganza happens January 25, 2014 on Gull Lake. It is the largest charitable ice fishing contest in North America! Ice fishing’s largest prize package will be up for grabs as thousands of anglers take to the ice for a day of fun.
