Cabin, 5 Bedrooms + Loft, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 12)

Whether you come for the week-end, or for a week or more, you

will love the quiet and serenity of our beautiful cabin in the woods! We have a perfect setting in towering trees with waterfront on Lake Edna. We are just two miles from downtown Nisswa with all quaint shops and eating places. Our lake boasts

pan fish (sunnys), great bass, small northern, and an array of

others typical to the lakes area. Great fishing. Bring your boat

and use the public access to Lake Edna, and tie up at our dock

as you wish. Kids love fishing off the dock too!!

Our cabin has five rustic and nicely furnished bedrooms, each with

a queen bed. There is also a loft to relax and read, or listen to

your favorite music. The loft also boasts a nice day bed with a pull-out mattress hidden underneath. You will never experience

a shortage of bathrooms, as we have three very nice baths for

your use.

You will enjoy a feeling of openness with the vaulted ceiling in

the great room - which is our living room and dining room. The

work easy kitchen offers a huge island counter for serving food

or beverage, or even extra dining area!

There is a huge family room in the basement, which is a great

place for the kids to play, or mom or dad to just sit and read.

You may enjoy playing a table game, or even poker, on our

wonderful game table in the corner...

About The Owner

We as a family have owned our cabin since

1997, and have enjoyed many years of

family get-togethers. We live in Minneapolis, Sauk

Rapids, Clearwater and Maple Grove.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 1997
Why The Owner chose Gull Lake

We felt many years ago that we wanted to

own a very nice cabin in the woods, and

that it should be near Nisswa. This would

give us an opportunity to get away from it

all whenever we wanted.

What makes this cabin unique

Our cabin in the woods offers a wonderful,

quiet place to just kick back and relax. If

we want quality shopping that is nearby, we just need to drive two miles to Nisswa.

Lake Edna is a small lake, but great for

casual boating, and also offers really

good fishing year round.

We had a great weekend stay. It was private, quite and very peaceful. The cabin is large and has plenty of space. The lake provided some good fishing and also time to relax in float tubes.

Wow! This place is everything the reviews said and more. We were so thrilled to walk into an immaculately clean cabin. We had a great week! Although there isn't a "beach" at the cabin, that didn't stop the kids from swimming in the beautiful lake. They just floated through the lilies and reached the sandbar. We are already thinking we might like to return next year.
The house is spacious and laid out in a way that everyone could have space to do what they wanted. The loft is a perfect master bedroom area. The lawn provided plenty of space to play outdoor games and the fire pit was great!

Our extended family of 12 stayed in this spacious home and there was plenty of room for all of us. The cabin was well-equipped, and the setting was peaceful and beautiful. The property was conveniently located to many lakes where we fished, and easy to go to town for mini-golf, dining, or shopping. The owner was pleasant to work with throughout the rental process. Although the house did not have central air conditioning, there were two window air conditioners and the property was shady which kept the house very comfortable. Large wrap around deck was also nice. Very good value for the price.

Beautiful, secluded and quiet retreat

We stayed for a week in July 2012 at this fantastic cabin. The decor is amazing, it was extremely clean and the location could not have been better. It is on Lake Edna, but so close to many other lakes that we could pull our boat out and go whenever we wanted to. The owner was extremely helpful and answered our questions both before we got there and after.
We actually caught fish! A rarity in July. Several larger northerns. This was the first time our family was able to get together on a vacation since our kids were younger and it was amazing to reconnect with them, and have them reconnect with each other. Nisswas is a cute town and really close so we had a great time there. Although we did most of our own cooking, be sure and eat at Rafferty's pizza. It is the best!
If you are looking for a place to go with lots of space for a reasonable price, I could not recommend this more.
