Killdeer 2 is located just a short 3 minute walk from the NEW Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center (SHARC) and includes unlimited use passes!

This tastefully decorated and comfortable, 1200 square foot home is a three minute walk from the village mall where you will find shopping, entertainment, restaurants, day spas, and fitness center. Furnishings, decor, bathrooms, carpeting and gas fireplace were recently updated. Warm wood accents give this home a true Sunriver feeling.

The home is single level with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, private bath and exterior access to the hot tub area. The second bedroom has a queen bed as well as bunkbeds. There is a full bathroom in the hall. The living room and each room has a TV/VCR/DVD or BluRay player. The beds are all made with luxury linens, crisp warm duvets, and new mattresses. Spa soap, shampoo, and a few other small ammenities are included to help you 'get by' if you forget your own.

A private hot tub and large deck with BBQ and comfortable patio furniture, with umbrella, allow you to relax and enjoy the outdoors. There are four adult and one child bikes, as well as a 2-child bike trailer to explore the miles of paved bike trails throughout Sunriver.

Sunriver Resort is located on the east slopes of the Cascade Mountains in the heart of Central Oregon's Recreational Paradise, just 12 miles south of Bend. This popular world-class resort has extensive bike paths, three 18-hole golf courses, day spas (including Sage Springs Spa), tennis courts, swimming pools, parks, and shopping center with a variety of restaurants. Mount Bachelor Ski Resort area is just 20 minutes away, along with the Cascade Lakes recreational area and nearby High Desert Museum.

About Jennifer Mucha

We are Ken and Jennifer Mucha of Bend, Oregon. Ken is a realtor and Jennifer is the property manager for Killdeer Lane as well as a few other Sunriver Vacation Homes. We have 2 children that we love to spend time with in the great outdoors. Skiing at Mt Bachelor, hiking or kayaking in the Cascades, and golfing or bike riding in Sunriver, are some of our favorite family activities.

Why Jennifer Mucha chose Sunriver

We love living in Central Oregon. If we did not live here, we would come here to vacation. With that in mind, we decided that Sunriver was the ideal location to begin our venture. We could own a vacation home to enjoy at a moments notice, and could also offer it to you, so that you can enjoy all of the things about Central Oregon that we love. What a fun investment this has been!

What makes this house unique

Our favorite thing about staying at 2 Killdeer Lane, is being able to bring our clothes and a basket of food. That is all we need. The home is fully equipped with everything we need for our small family to enjoy a perfect 'Sunriver Getaway.' During the winter, we love to ski at Mt. Bachelor and then soak in the hot tub. During the summer, we swim at the SHARC, play in the park and we absolutely LOVE riding bikes on the miles of bike paths. Spring and Fall are both great times to enjoy the bike riding, hiking in the Cascades, and playing games or watching movies in front of the fireplace with the kids.

I really loved this house. It has it all and I would suggest this place to all my friends. What a great job they did on the furniture not to mention the ambience. The owners are terrific also. They are quick to act on anything you might need. And the house is close to everything. You can't miss renting this house!

Relaxing Vacation

This was a last minute booking for us. We arrived at the home to find the gas fireplace going and the home warm and cozy. This home has just about anything you could ask for. Kitchen is well stocked, great selection of movies, cd's and board games. There is even a small selection of kids toys that kept our niece busy during our visit with her and her mom. We didn't make use of the Sharc passes due to the fact that they outdoor attractions were closed and the hours of operation....but we definetely plan on coming back next summer and being able to take advantage the passes. We went for a drive and explored the lakes (having a small cooler in the kitchen was awesome for packing a small picnic lunch), and we explored the Old Mill District. It was a nice touch to have coffee and such in the kitchen. We have enjoyed several homes in Sunriver over the last many years....but this home is by far the best. The owners have taken great care to supply the little things that you wouldn't think about packing for yourself. We would highly recommend this home!! We will for sure be back this coming summer!

Great place to stay. Perfect Sunriver location.

Four of us stayed here for a long holiday weekend and we had a great time. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities you could want, from bandaids and scissors to a Blu-ray player. The house is a five minute bike ride to both the aquatic center (we used the provided passes daily!) and the village and our young teenagers appreciated the ability to bike to both places easily by themselves. Jennifer, the owner, lives locally and is very attentive and helpful--the microwave went on the fritz during our stay and she replaced it with a new one the same day.

Wonderful place to stay in sunriver

We stayed here for the month of February, and could not recommend it high enough. The home comes with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The master bed was very comfortable and we loved the convenience of the gas fireplace. It is a short walk to the village, restaurants, general store, etc.. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Wonderfull Home

Stayed here with my husband, our daughter (9 months at the time) and young dog for two nights in November. The house is so cozy and comfortable. I loved the decor, the use of bikes, toy and game stash in the closet, hot tub and available space. We had a great vacation and this was a great place to stay. Thank you for setting us up last minute!
