The house is on a 3.5 acre parcel on the west side of Middle Point and overlooks Thumb and Deep Bottom Coves where they join the main body of Tisbury Great Pond. This area is a globally-rare sand plain, grassland and heath, which extends south to the barrier beach and ocean.

The property includes a beach and swimming area on the Pond, where one can pull up and store canoes, kayaks and small sailboats (Sunfish, Lasers). A canoe is available for exploring the pond and paddling to the barrier beach along the south side of the Pond. Sailboats and kayaks can be rented from Winds Up on the Beach Road in Vineyard Haven.

Compact and spacious at the same time, the quirky and comfortable house sits in the midst of an ideal refuge from the modern world. We've returned for many years for the calm and secluded atmosphere we find a perfect place to unwind and reconnect with the natural world on land, pond and ocean.

This is one of the most charming houses we have ever stayed in! Every corner of this house is thoughtful and charming!!! The location couldn't be better! BEAUTIFUL pond to ocean views! WE have been vacationing in this area for 20+ years and this is one of our favorite cottages to stay in!
