Make Some Real Memories at Lady of the Lakes

An important aspect of renting a home away from home is finding owners who are easy to communicate with, and considerate. This is true of this property which we rented a few times during the spring and fall, while our youngest attended Interlochen Arts Academy.
The neighborhood is especially nice and quiet. The car parks near to the cottage for easy access. It sits up on a hill overlooking Green Lake. It is very easy to feel comfortable out of doors as well as in. The feeling is expansive because of the hill, trees, lake, and windows all along the lake side of the house (the photos don't do it justice). At the same time it is cozy and friendly because the cottage is not huge and fussy. Our family and friends all felt close, warm, and comfortable in the clean, tastefully furnished Lady of the Lakes. We usually had 4-5 family members staying the whole time with 4-5 friends just visiting or spending a night
We have some wonderful memories from this place. Our grandson remembers looking for artifacts and collecting rocks; his mother still talks about the kitchen where she made special dishes or baked cookies; I have a photo of my husband and I sitting out on the deck relaxing after busy times at the Academy; we played games at the kitchen table just like home; I loved sitting on the back steps catching up with our youngest who we missed so. She says one of the best memories of her life is the moonlight row boat ride she had with her friends.
You have to remember you are at a warm cedar wood cottage on Green Lake in Northern MI....It's not supposed to be the DoubleTree. Enjoy the surroundings and each other....make some real memories at Lady of the Lakes.
