Overview

Fleurac House Rental Photos and Description

Very romantic, pure tranquility, nature and yet surrounded by sights

The house 'Laudinie' is beautiful situated on a hill. The views of green hills and valleys is unique. A dirt road leads about 100 meters from a side road off to the old farmhouse. This is free-standing, with a lot of private land and a large garden. Those seeking peace, she finds there. It has no immediate neighbors and you're fully protected from prying eyes. You can totally private holiday and relax. The deck area around the large pool (6x13m, up to 3m deep) is ideal for undisturbed sunbathing and through the large trees you will also find plenty of shady spots. The covered BBQ & lounge space allows the grilling even when the weather is uncertain. From the romantic courtyard and the living room leads to the large dream patio where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets. However, the house is wonderfully centrally located amid many attractions and outdoor activities of the Perigord Noir, famous for its castles, medieval towns (Sarlat 25 min) and Prehistoric Caves (Les Eyzies 10 min). Swimming pool *** highlight object

To discover:

The Dordogne lures with wonderful palaces and castles as well as numerous outdoor activities (canoeing, golfing, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, water and adventure parks etc).

For each day of the week is in another romantic medieval town a traditional street market place where the local delicacies can be tasted - a highlight for all gourmets (Sarlat 25 min).

The region is known worldwide for its wealth of prehistoric caves up to 17,000 years old polychrome works of art (Lascaux 30 minutes away, Font de Gaume 10 min, Grotte de Rouffignac 10 min, etc) and geologically unique stalactite and stalagmite caves ( eg Chasm of Proumeyssac, 20 min).

The village of Les Eyzies', with the National Museum of Prehistory and the international exposure and Information Centre 'Pole International de la Prehistoire' is just 7 km away.

A large network of trails leads through the entire region. Along Wild Brooks. Endless by chestnut and oak forests, past impressive rock formations and stunning natural landscapes

Also in the region, there are seven golf courses of which four 9-hole and three 18-hole offer.

Various large and small wineries invite you to Degoustieren. To discover there is the famous wine regions of Bergerac, Montbazillac, Cahors, Pecharmant and Bordeaux. Here you can live 'like God in France'.

Also makes children's hearts beat faster the Dordogne. The world of dinosaurs and cavemen is a creative way to the children approached with (eg 'Prehisto Park' or the 'Parc au Dinosaur'). Also it has a go-karting park, mini golf and a fun park with water slides, pony rides, railways, etc. In addition, Europe's largest privately owned freshwater aquarium is only 15 km away.

The ideal holiday area for families with different generations - by the great range of excursions comes every age group at their expense!

Fabulous family fun in jaw dropping location

Every year it is a challenge to find a suitable spot for our family holiday. With 3 kids, their grandparents, and our two lovely labs, finding a place where everyones needs are fulfilled and nobody gets bored can be tricky to say the least.

Laudinie gave us the space to do just that. The adults had a magnificent time exploring the prehistoric caves and historical sights that are close by, not to mention the amazing local cuisine. If you like wine and cheese your heading to the right place believe me, the food and craft markets in the charming local towns are simply amazing.

The kids went wild for the sports on offer in the region. Not a single complaint of boredom (unheard of from my lot) for the whole holiday. In the end though, the house is the real attraction. The jaw dropping views, the friendly old horses, the open fire, the fact that you cant see a trace of civilisation apart from a cow farmer on the opposite side of the valley. All in all, pure magic. Imagine the kids going wild in the pool, my parents relaxing on the balcony or in the garden with a glass of wine and their books, and my wife and I floating between them and the kitchen (or more often the outside barbeque). It was a truly blissful time. I can not recommend it more highly.

Einfach unglaublich..... muß man erlebt haben

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5
