The house is new to the rental program so everything is new and beautiful.

The house is ideal for two families or one large family. It includes two beautiful queen-sized bedrooms for the adults and an extra large third bedroom for all the kids (up to 6 with 2 sleeping on a blow-up mattress). This 'kids' room includes a TV and videos (yes, actually vidoes) so the kids can spend time there while the adults enjoy the family room and billiard room.

The deck outside has a wonderful view of the entire 6th hole (par three). We love to sneak out @8PM and play it a couple of times as the sun is setting.

In the winter months, the large mudroom becomes really useful. It has been specifically setup as a staging area for the dressing, undressing and storing of all the ski gear. Better yet, you can close the door when you are done for the day and not have to look at the mass of jackets, gloves, boots, etc.

Finally, we have professional check-in/check-out services (including emergency services) through Wintergreen Real Estate to make the check-in process as smooth as possible.

We love to travel all over the world but love to go to Wintergreen when we only have a weekend to spare.

Rob Miller purchased this house in 2005
Why Rob Miller chose Wintergreen

We bought the house for our own use when our daughters were 11 and 9. They are now 16 & 14 and their activities prevent us from going to our mountain retreat as often as all of us would like. Therefore, we thought we would share it rather than let it sit idle.

What makes this house unique

We love the weather at Wintergreen in the summer - perfect for relaxing or hiking outside on the mountain. When we are in the mood for hot weather, we head to the valley and go to the lake. In the winter, we can be on the slopes in 5-10 minutes after we leave the house. It is very convienient.

Great for Winter Weekend

We stayed for a winter weekend and were very happy with the house. The furnishings are very nice, there is a ton of storage space for luggage, and the kitchen is nicely appointed. We were there during a snowy time, and we were able to sled and take walks on the golf course, which borders the house. Our children were happy with the assortment of kids' movies, and games.

Wonderful weekend

My husband and I stayed in the house to celebrate our anniversary weekend at Wintergreen. The house exceeded our expectations. The furnishings were lovely, the appliances & amenities are up to date (granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, etc.) and the house was very clean and neat. While it was just the two of us, the home will easily accommodate more people and has a great bonus room for kids to stay. The location is on the golf course which was nice & quiet, and the location is very close to the main Wintergreen amenities. The rental process, check-in and check out processes were all very easy.

Beautiful fully equipped home within close proximity to many available activities; golf, tennis, pool, restaurants, childrens playgrounds as well as climbing wall, bungee trampolines, summer tubing, zip line, etc.
All supplies needed were supplied in the home, very clean & quiet.
Remember to bring your own pool towels.
Unless we couldn't find it, a fly swatter would be helpful.
Owner very helpful with details and all personnel in the resort were friendly and helpful as well with any questions.
Should have almost all of your food needs (groceries) BEFORE coming up the mountain.

Beautiful home in a quiet comfortable location!

We spent a great long 4th of July weekend here. It was exactly what we were looking for in a nice quiet family get-away. Our daughter (2 1/2 yrs) loved the upstairs bedroom with TV and access to new "videos". It was especially nice to have access to the pools and lake. We were very thrilled to do be close enough to do everything we wanted, hiking, trial running, swimming in the pools and lakes and enjoying quiet evenings on the deck. Summer is a great time of year to visit, we are from the DC area and the cooler temperatures were a great break. Rob was great to deal with through the entire process, very prompt in responding to our questions and making sure we had everything we needed for our trip.

We would rent from this owner again and again. We have stayed at numerous homes in the Wintergreen Resort area over the last few years and this home has the perfect layout for adults and for our two young boys. A++++ experience!
