Condado Beach - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms Near Marriot Hotel and La Concha Hotel

This was the third year in a row that we vacationed in Puerto Rico for the Christmas holiday and my family and I agree that this was the best one yet. We really liked the Condado location. It was nice to have the beach so close, as well as restaurants, casino's and Old San Juan. The apartment was very comfortable for us. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was a big plus, and everyone enjoyed having the space of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We had previously stayed in the Embassy Suites in Isla Verde, which was nice, but a little cramped for the five people. We much prefer the apartment. Victor was very accomodating and made us feel welcome.

Overall, a very comfortable place to stay in an excellent location.

You mentioned before we left that you could send me some links to other properties you manage in the Condado area. I would be interested to see what they offer.

The owner was quick to respond during booking, but less so once he had our deposit. He made us ring him (from UK) to arrange arrival, instead of answering my email questions. When we arrived, we could not get into the key box, as he had not given us a crucial bit of information. It took a while to track him down by phone to get instructions. All rather stressful after a long flight. Once in (through about 6 doors with keys!) the apartment was spacious and the beds were comfy, but the sea view is between buildings across an unattractive scruffy flat roof. The air-conditioning in the smallest room was archaic and so noisy no one could sleep with it (we had to make a bed up under the living room fans). Generally, the flat was a bit tatty (louvred slats missing from cupboards, tiles needing regrouting, no bath plugs, dirty floors and oven). It's definitely not as good as the pictures suggest, although beds were clean and made up and there were plenty of towels and even toothpaste provided. When we left, the lift did not work so we had to carry six suitcases down the stairs.

The location is good (a bit loud from the surrounding bars, but that's to be expected), right by the Condado beach and easy walking distance to the calmer bathing beach.Taxis available right outside and shops and restaurants close by.
