Dissapointed in Tablerock

Our family gathered for a fun week at Tablerock Lake, but the conditions of the house made it less than relaxing. There was no water pressure in the kitchen and the individual who came to repair it at the end of the 2nd day we were there couldn't do it and so turned it off completely. We were left to haul water from tub to kitchen for every meal. Multiple other things were either not working well or broken. When we arrived, there were still linens in the dryer - undried that we had to complete drying and try to figure out where they went. Because of it all, we felt the owner should consider some reimbursement of cost. The woman who'd we'd communicated with throughout the rental process and while staying had many excuses, but said she could not talk about the money at all - that was up to her brother. She would not share his name/phone number and he never called us. We will NOT go back!!!!
Owner's Response: The water pressure was low when they arrived. We believed the filter needed to be replaced and had to order the correct filter. When we took it apart to replace filter after it arrived we found they sent us the wrong filter. When we attempted to reassemble the faucet so they would have something it would not go back together without leaking. It was the next day before I could obtain a new filter so they did have to haul water to the kitchen. I ended up replacing the faucet entirely due to the difficultly obtaining parts. I replaced with a major well known brand so parts would be readily accesible. They asked for money back and I referred them to my brother the company accountant. My brother did attempt to contact them unsuccessfully. When they made the reservation they mailed the check to him so did have his info. They never asked for his contact info as I would have gladly shared it with them. I never heard about the linens in the dryer. I am sure they were the extra linens accidently forgotten by housekeepers as all beds were made on their arrival and all bathrooms were stocked with clean towels. The only other thing was a toilet seat which was loose and was fixed by tightening the bolts. These are one year old luxury log cabins, beautifully furnished and maintained. We have had so many tell us what a wonderful time they had and what a perfect location for a family reunion. I am very sorry this family did not enjoy their vacation and I am sorry that this inconvience may have contributed to their disappointing trip.
