So glad I stayed here for first time in Hawaii

  • 5 of 5

Amazing place with amazing view of Diamond Head. Came with my husband and group of our friends. Perfect sized place, comfy beds and clean. Loved the front porch area. Had a grill, swimming equipment for kids, snorkelling gear and even shoes. It was stocked! You drive up a hill to get to the property which is an adventure. Make sure if you are going down the hill, you move off to the side if another car is coming up the hill. Those are the rules. But, back to my review. We had a blast, and this cute house contributed to that. We played guitar and sang karaoke at night yet no one complained about the noise. I would stay here again if I came back to this island.

Perfect rental property for a family

  • 5 of 5

This was our first stay in this rental. It was perfect for our family. There were 12 of us visiting for birthdays so some stayed in a hotel and some of us stayed in this rental home. We were able to get everyone together for dinner in the spacious living area. We stayed 7 nights the end of Jan. into Feb. We had a little rain, but it didn't affect our stay because of the large covered Lanai we could still enjoy the outdoors. We were met by Christin and her husband when we arrived. Everything went perfect. We were so surprised to have such a larger supply of cooking supplies. All we needed was the food. The home is old, but very well maintained with many new upgrades and has an awesome view. We will definitely rent from them again.

Awesome home with amazing views!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at this amazing rental and, as always, we enjoyed every moment of it. We came to visit family and friends and decided to stay here again as we were coming with a large group…7 of us. Cristin and her husband are so very welcoming and friendly and always so accommodating! We were there over Fourth of July weekend and we were able to see the firework show over Waikiki from the lanai! Unbelievable to be able to enjoy the show without the crowds and from the privacy of your own place. The views from this home are one of the things that keep bringing us back! The home is always well taken care of and clean and fully stocked with almost anything you need! The home is centrally located so going anywhere on the island was never a problem!

We even experienced a flat tire on our departure day on the way to the airport and Cristin and her husband were so accommodating even when they had guests arriving later that day! Amazing service…we cannot say enough great things about the house and Cristin and her family! We will definitely be back again!!!

Magnificent Panoramic Ocean View

  • 5 of 5

We stayed there for six nights in late June. Since we wanted to take a trip with our children and grandchildren, we thought a vacation rental house was preferable for seven people. In my research to find a good one, I put the top priority on beautiful scenery from the house. Upon our arrival there, I found I had made a very good choice. It had 180 degree panoramic view with the Diamondhead in front. We loved evening city lights of Honolulu, as well.

The house was not new but very clean and well organized. We enjoyed all meals at the lanai including BBQ twice. Kitchen was well equipped and we were surprised to find even a rice cooker. The owner couple who lived downstairs were very friendly and quick responsive to our requests. All my family loved the place and would like to stay there again in the future. Only one thing which a little bit disturbed us was noise of vehicles, but I thought it acceptable considering those pretty steep sloping roads which gave us such magnificent scenery.

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

The house was clean and well organized. Everything that we needed was there. Just make sure to go out and grocery shop if you're staying there for a well extended time. Everything was label and had instructions so there was no questions in-hand. Free WiFi and also offer netflix on the blue ray player if you have an account. The view was amazing and the highway wasn't far away. It was close to everything!

Since I was familiar with traffic noise, it didn't bother us, but if noise bothers you, there are car noises that pass by in the middle of the night.

The owner was friendly and easy to reach out to. I would definitely stay at this place again on my next trip of Oahu.

Loved everything about this house!

  • 5 of 5

My family, friends and I rented the home this past month for a week to attend my sister's wedding at the Halekulani Resort. The house was extremely clean, welcoming and comfortable for our party of 8, and the view from the lanai was absolutely breathtaking. We found ourselves eating on the patio a lot taking in the sunrise and sunset. My husband and I occupied the room with the king bed and instantly fell in love with all of the windows surrounding the room and feeling the breeze come in at night. We're from Arizona, so this was a nice treat. Was the perfect way to relax and unwind.

Although the home is perched up on a hill and getting there can be a challenge some days with the traffic (one way street) and parking, we all really enjoyed this rental. It had everything we needed, even beach towels, beach gear and a washer/dryer which is necessary when you have kids. We were able to spend our budget on taking in the sights around town like snorkeling at Haunama Bay, Northshore, Dole Plantation and Waikiki Beach. Having a full kitchen and a Costco in the area also helped to stay on budget and not eat out every meal. The drive to the beach was short, too, about 15 minutes down the hill.

On a personal note, I really enjoyed Cristin's ability to respond promptly. She was always accessible if we had questions. After we left the home, I realized I had left a necklace in the master bedroom and emailed her. She was so accommodating and mailed the necklace back to me. Now that is superior customer service. Not too many rental spots, or even hotels, would go to the trouble of mailing anything back if left behind.

I'd highly recommend this rental for any families looking to enjoy Hawaii, particularly those who don't mind not being right on the beach, who are budget conscious, and who want the views right off a postcard. :) This is IT!!!!
