We have always loved log homes and built our first log home in 1992 in Colorado. When we found this log home in 1996, we loved it so much we moved in permanently in 1998, to raise our children in this wonderful setting, and remained until 2010. Not wanting to sell our log home, we decided on VRBO because we had heard of so many wonderful experiences with VRBO property rentals from friends and family. Our prayer is that many familys can enjoy the relaxing and refreshing experience our log home offers.

Our family has been in the Hill Country area since 1952. In 1995, we were driving in Oak Ridge Estates and stopped to watch someone feeding a herd of deer, right out of her hand! We learned from her that the home next door to her was for sale! We bought 102 Pecan Creek Drive in January 1996. We came to our new log home on the weekends from our home in The Woodllands, TX, for two years, until we moved to our log home in June of 1998. Our now grown, three older children grew up here, living on lake LBJ, enjoying all the fun and beauty. In 2010, we moved to Lake Marble Falls, and still enjoy visiting our log home on Lake LBJ when we are not renting it out.

Thank you so much for letting us rent out your home for the Memorial Weekend! What a memorable weekend it was for our family!!! We love the house and all the rooms, the neighborhood is wonderful esp with all of the friendly deer roaming in the back yard. The kids loved the back yard and play area! We build a giant slip and slid down the hill!!! The waterfront and boat dock are breathtaking at such a private location! The house came with everything and we never ran out of activities for fun! The adults espically enjoyed the private hot tub and patio area as well as the out door shower. All the girls ended up leaving will steller tans from many many hours of sun bathing on the top deck of the boat dock! We also enjoyed many wonderful meals prepared by the boys bbq style down by the lake at the boat dock! We truly enjoyed our stay and loved your home we would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10 and plan to come back for all of our Lake LBJ vacations! Looking forward to next year~~~The WILPITZ Family
