NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE YOU’LL WISH YOU WERE HERE!
You will fall in love with our funky little beach cabin. The Beach Cabin is a rustic, cozy spot with french doors opening out to the beach and an unobstructed view of the ocean. You can lie back in a chair on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view of the waves coming in to the shore or you can set out for a walk along the beach and enjoy the ocean. You can also head for nearby sights such as the Olympic National Rain Forest with great hiking and phenomenal old growth trees. If you are looking for more action, it is a short distance to Ocean Shores and the Quinalt casino. You can enjoy yourself there, knowing that after a busy day, you can arrive back to your quiet beautiful spot, a chair on the deck, your favorite beverage in hand and watch the spectacular sunset. Friends and family have said that this is truly a cabin for all seasons..summer, spring, fall and winter
Awesome little cabin, right on the beach. Super gorgeous setting with everything you need for a fantastic beachside get away. The owner is great to work with and made everything easy during the booking and for the stay. Highly recommend!
The cabin was comfortable but in need of tender loving care. Kitchen drawers were difficult to open and main bedroom door won't close. Pots, pans and cooking utensils were dirty and had to be washed before they could be used.
We had a great winter weekend getaway here. The cabin is right on a long stretch of beach which is great for walks and my dog loved it. The hot tub is on the deck with a great view of the dunes, beach and night sky. The cabin has a very cozy pellet stove that kept the place plenty warm. The owner was very nice and easy to correspond with.
This was our second time renting this cabin and it couldn't have been better. You walk right out the door and onto the beach - view from kitchen and bedroom loft. Great weather was a bonus!
Cute little place with all the essentials plus some fun extras (hot tub! Paints for painting seashells!) perfect for a small family to relax and get away from it all right on the beach. Owners were fabulous to deal with as well. Loved it!
When we travel with little ones, we try to pick someplace not too fancy and with easy access to a beach or pool/hot tub. This place covered those requirements and more, plus was affordable for a holiday weekend! Get ready to be truly "un-plugged" (no wifi/cell srvc/landline)
I had initially booked this place for just my husband and I and our 2 young children, then some family members ended up joining us so grand total was 5 adults, 2 kids & 2 dogs! We lucked out with SUN, which made the deck and yard a great extension of living space. The beach was short jaunt through the dune grass, and was quiet, almost deserted every day we were there. This area of beach prohibits driving from April 15th-Labor Day so we never had to worry about cars with the kids/dogs. The sand was fine/soft and my kids loved finding WHOLE sand dollars and flying kites every day.
The cabin is pretty much on a dead end so traffic and noise is minimal. The photos don't show the hot tub on the deck of the cabin, which was hot and ready to go when we arrived. Cabin was neat and clean upon arrival. It's thoughtfully equipped with everything you need and more! Washer and dryer with soap and dryer sheets was SO nice, who doesn't want to go home with no dirty clothes/towels to pack?? There is no TV in living area, which worked for us. 1 bedroom has TV/VHS and other has TV/DVD (LOTS of movies) so kids could get cozy on a bed and settle down in the evenings while adults chat without interruption. Bedroom dressers contained games, paint for shells/rocks, books, etc.
There were beach toys (inflatable tube, skim board, buckets/shovel), plenty of kitchen amenities (coffee maker, toaster, spices, coffee &, filters, salt&pepper, cooking pans, etc), & hose on front porch for rinsing sandy feet and sandy pups. The owner-provided dog beds were great,my sisters beagles actually liked them! We would put them on the deck during the day so pups could lounge in the sun then pulled them in at night.
We brought our own food and cooked/BBQ'd every meal, ate outside most of the time and one night had s'mores on the beach.
The only time we noticed the "cozy-ness" of the cabin was taking turns with the bathroom. Also the pull down stairs to loft are creaky if you have to get up in the night.
We took one day trip to Ocean Shores and Seabrook and we were all glad that we were staying in Moclips because THIS place is the authentic family beach vacation spot!
Owner was a pleasure to work with, hope to return again.
