Great property!

  • 4 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lovely basement accommodations. Each room has very clean and functional furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped and equally clean. The location was very scenic and provided us with a great launching point to Yellowstone National Park. The Keurig system (and the coffee and tea supplies) was a great enhancement and we enjoyed taking advantage of it each morning.

To be honest, I would have given this property 5+ stars had it not been for a few shortcomings. First and foremost, one of the beds (in the bedroom on the left when looking at the kitchen) was EXTREMELY noisy. My husband and I were in the bedroom on the right and the bed was very comfortable. However, our friends in the other bedroom found their sleep to be significantly impacted by the noise generated by the bed whenever the moved - even slightly. Additionally, we all agreed that satin sheets are not ideal. My husband and I actually slept with a blanket in between us and the sheets. Our recommendation would be to simply standard cotton sheets going forward.

Again, the location was ideal and the property itself is outstanding. With a few modifications you have a real gem! Thanks for the peppermint patties that you left - that was a very thoughtful (and appreciated) surprise.

Owner's Response: Dear Reviewer,
Thank you for your review. We are delighted that you had a wonderful stay at the Wild Rose, and enjoyed all the amenities. We try and make every effort to be sure our guests are very comfortable and feel at home.
We appreciate you letting us know about the noise the bed was making during your stay. We were not aware of the problem, and will make sure it is corrected ASAP.
The satin sheets were provided as an upgrade, however, we realize that not everybody likes them. In the future, we will give guests a choice of either cotton or satin sheets.
Once again, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and Thank You for choosing the Wild Rose as your vacation destination in beautiful Paradise Valley.

Quiet Property on the Yellowstone

  • 3 of 5
This is a cozy basement apartment below the owners residence. The owners were away while we were there, so didn't meet them but did visit with them on the phone. The accommodation is well laid out with outside firepit and gas or pellet bbq options. This was supposed to be a non-pet friendly rental, we don't allow animals in our house at home so were very disappointed to find pet hair on and around the furniture and dining table. Even though the location was wonderful we would probably not rent again because of the pet hair and privacy issues.

Owner's Response: Dear Jonathan,

We regret that you were not completely satisfied with your stay at the WIld Rose. Because our guests are very important to us, and their satisfaction is our #1 priority, we have refunded your entire stay, (less cleaning charges.)

To adress your above concerns, however, we do feel compelled to point out that the Wild Rose is advertised as a "pet-friendly" rental, with an additional pet fee of #25/pet.

We hope that you will find any future vacation rentals to your satisfaction.

Best wishes,

Tom and Jyoti

Spectacular!

  • 5 of 5
My family recently stayed at the Wild Rose on the Yellowstone. It is a peaceful, comfortable, luxurious and beautiful accommodation, with breathtaking million dollar 360 degree views of water, mountains, valleys, and wildflowers. We even saw deer grazing in a nearby field. This place is right on the Yellowstone River, has a private pond, and very easy drive to Yellowstone Park, Livingston MT, and Chico Springs MT. Our family enjoyed fishing in the pond and river right on the property. This is one of the best vacations ever thanks to the owners' hospitality and spectacular home/property. The property is immaculate and very well maintained. The owners were very helpful and answered all of our questions. They even greeted us with homemade cookies upon arrival. The owners were so incredibly thoughtful – I highly recommend this property!

The Wild Rose is lovely! Brand new- perfect for a getaway to the park and right on the River! The Milner's are wonderful folks! They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed (even homemade cookies and a s'mores gathering by the lovely fire)
The Wild Rose is in a perfect location- right off of the highway from Livingston and about a half hour drive into the park!
Spotless apartment- amenities all beautiful and brand new.
Thanks, we will be back!
