New in 2007, this wonderfully designed home was built by Frank Russo. Vaulted ceilings throughout allow for an abundance of natural light, naturally adding to the spacious feel of the home. Cozy up in the living room next to the gas fireplace on chilly nights and watch a movie in the BlueRay DVD player provided. In the summer, the living room ceiling fans help cool down the house nicely.

The open kitchen is fully stocked and complete with stainless steel appliances and a dishwasher to make clean up quick and easy. Step outside onto perhaps one of the well appreciated features of the home, the expansive deck, which offers beautiful ocean views. Watch the 4th of July fireworks right from the deck! Granite counter tops with tile accents, upscale cabinetry, and hardwood stretch throughout the home adding a touch of class.

Three bedrooms and a loft allow the home to sleep up to eight guests in beds, however a total number of 10 guests can be accommodated if a air mattress is brought along for a couple of small kids. The master bedroom holds a comfy king bed, with the two other bedrooms each holding a queen. A loft overlooking the living space contains a pull-out futon as well. Two full baths and one half bath makes getting ready for the beach or shopping a breeze.

Located right in the heart of the Manzanita Village, this home is just over a block from the beach. Manzanita is a gorgeous small town filled with boutique shops, restaurants, galleries and a long stretch of sandy beach. For those that seek a little more adventure, Oswald State Park just north of Manzanita provides an excellent surfing beach as well as beautiful hiking trails and view points. You can take in the most beautiful view on the coast from the top of Neahkahnie Mountain to the north.

Multi-family getaway!

This was a wonderful, comfortable place to stay with 7 adults and 1 well-behaved dog. The place is tri-level and has three bathrooms which is great for multi-family groups, lots of adults or teenage girls. the balcony deck is not full enclosed so if you have young children a baby gate may be helpful to seal off the open end. Four bedrooms, 2- on the lower level, 1 on the mid level and the loft too. It was only half a block to downtown and about 1 block to the beach. I took my dog there daily for a romp in the sand. Definitely a perfect place for those who want to be able to walk to the shops, dinner, etc. Will definitely return!

Great beach house

We went with another family for a weekend vacation and overall had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and was well designed for our purpose; bedrooms downstairs, social area on main floor, and a loft for the kiddies to play. It was a very short walk to the beach which was nice with kids in tow. The BBQ was nonfunctional unfortunately because the propane tank valve was rusted in place and the gas outlet ports were clogged shut. I think that had more to do with the salt air than anything else, but it was still disappointing. I would have liked the floors to be a bit cleaner (they were really gritty) because we had small children with us, but we understand how difficult sand can be to clean up. I would have been happy to clean the floor to my standards with one of the many swifter brooms they had, but there were no pads. Aside from those very minor issues, we were very happy with the house and our stay. We would absolutely stay at this house again. Thanks for a great mini vacation.

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed our home. I just wanted to let you know that we have removed the old BBQ based on your suggestion and are adding a brand new one. We have also added a hot tub which can be a lot of fun. The lack of swifer pads is our mistake, we have immediately remedied that and shampooed the carpets. We hope you'll find our home even more enjoyable at your next visit.

Fantastic vacation home!!!

We LOVED the house in Manzanita! It was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and the location was unbeatable! One block to the beach and 1/2 a block to downtown!

A few very nice touches- the spigot at the front of the house with cold and HOT water! Great for rinsing off feet after going to the beach! Also loved the full sized Washer and Dryer. And loved the key box outside the house. That way our party could split up and we didn't have to worry about everyone having a key!

We were so happy with our stay!!!! We are already thinking of coming back next year!

Great vacation house away in a relaxed town

We loved this place. Everything was new and in great condition. The deck was a nice spot to sit and enjoy the ocean air. The beach & Manzanita downtown are both a block from the house. No ocean views from the house except from the loft. But, considering the proximity to the beach this did not matter. The only thing that was missing was a stereo or ipod dock for music.

The home was very clean, very well equipped, very modern, and very nice. Our only complaint was that the view was very limited. The listing said oceanview, and in order to see the beach you had to peer between trees and homes on the deck. You could hear the beach, but the view was disappointing. That was our ONLY complaint.
