Our 4 star holiday home is situated in the spa area of Birkendorf, on a 4956 square meter site, in a quiet location (cul-de-sac). There is a swimming lake in the area (the entry is free). A golf course is located close by, along with wooded areas for walking such as the Wutach gorge, Lake Schluchsee , Feldberg, Titisee lake and of course, Switzerland. Or why not take a bus tour with buses to Zürich and the Alpine passes?

This 2 bedroom apartment is on the top floor of the house and has a four-star rating. It is comfortably furnished and contains satellite television, a west-facing balcony with a beautiful view, a large living room with coach bed, another small bedroom, shower and toilet, Alno fitted kitchen, corridor and porch. The site is 4956 square meters large, contains a large parking space, two garden ponds with koi and goldfish, summer house, barbecue area, a bike shed which can be freely used by the guests and much more. A lovely garden completes everything and gives the place a sense of home.

Uhlingen-Birkendorf is divided into 8 different townships. We are situated in the township of Birkendorf which is the largest with 1200 inhabitants. It is 800 m above sea level. We are a climatic spa, voted Germany's prettiest town in 1973. Shopping facilities include an Edeka supermarket with baker and butcher's shops and general groceries. The area has a beautiful swimming lake; entry is free with playing facilities and much more. We are situated in a quiet area, a cul-de-sac, 100 m from a wooded area, 900 m from the swimming lake and 50 m from the house is a hotel with an indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a health spa, a beautiful wooded area for hiking rounds everything off nicely. In Switzerland, you can fill up on petrol for 20 to 25 percent cheaper. The Swiss border is only 9 miles away, the town of Feldberg only 15.5 miles away, Schluchsee Lake is only 8 miles away, Lake Titisee only 17 miles away and Zürich airport is 40 miles away.

  • Rental price for the 2 bedroom apartment is currently € 32 for 2 people, plus € 3.50 per extra person. On top of that the visitors charge for the area is currently 1.30/person over the age of 16 and includes Konus, which allows free travel on buses and trains in the region. There is a final cleaning charge of € 20.50. Water, electricity and bed linen are included. Bicycle, and skis in winter are free for our guests. Our area has a beautiful natural swimming lake, with free entry. There is also a hiking area very close by and the Wutachschlucht gorge. The spa area provides a variety of programs for guests and children. Mini-golf, tennis, mountain climbing, shopping nearby, a golf course nearby, bowls area nearby, volleyball at the swimming lake, felting and cross-country skiing. There is a forest with the Wutachschlucht gorge, round Lake Schluchsee and the town of Feldberg, there are even more travel opportunities in Switzerland with cheaper petrol, 20 cents cheaper and much more.

Golf, cross country, ski-lifts: An 18 hole golf course is located 5 kilometers away on the upper Alp, an ideal area for bike tours, cross country skiing, Nordic walking, etc. The use of the swimming lake is free, and the air has natural healing properties. Pure nature with forests and fields. Ski-lifts in Brenden, Rothaus, Altglasshutten, Feldberg and Hinterzarten, swimming lake in the area, Schlüchtsee and Titisee lakes all in the region. Free travel with Konus, which means with the “spa card” you get free travel in the whole region, Basel, Waldshut etc.

“Now we feel at home again”: We have many guests that spend their vacation with us for the 10th or even the 40th time and when they arrive they say: “Now we feel at home again”

Ski: Ski-lifts in Hinterzarten, Feldberg, Altglasshutten and in Brünlisbach(Rothaus), Brenden.
