We had a lovely time, the cabin was a nice retreat and we could not have asked for more perfect weather. It was a relaxing and fun vacation. Thank you for everything to you and the Yellowley family!
We moved to the Sunshine Coast in 1996 after we fell in love with the beauty, nature, community and amenities here. We settled in the quaint village of Roberts Creek and continue to call this our home. We started our own business on the coast 18 years ago and continue to be blessed with the beauty of this vibrant community. As small business owners on the coast, we have come to appreciate the many positive attributes of this lifestyle and warm community. After lovingly restoring our 1930's cottage, we have made this into our second home, a beachfront getaway for friends and family. We hope that you will visit our home and share the same amazing joys of the Sunshine Coast that we have found here!
We chose to buy this property because we fell in with the views and the community of Roberts Creek. We have spent many happy times at our Waterfront Cottage on the beach. We love to travel oursleves and wanted to share our piece of paradise with others!
The home is fully set up for a quiet retreat, romantic couple's escape, family holiday or 6 person get away. With the waterfront setting, you will enjoy the peaceful, yet ever changing landscape, and the wide views across to Vancouver Island. A forested driveway begins a lovely walk past local flower stands into the village of Roberts Creek. Rejuvenate with the hot tub, explore the beach, relax by the fire. Roberts Creek is about 10 minutes from the town of Gibsons. With many shops, restaurants and amenities between Gibsons and Sechelt, you will find virtually everything you need nearby. With two theatres, two community centres (new pool in Sechelt) and abundant arts studios. Many local coffeeshops (try Wheatberries Bakery!) and restaurants for you to enjoy. You are within easy reach of mountain biking trails, hiking and ocean sports.
Beachcombing, kayak rentals (snowshoes in winter) from Alpha Adventures, Access to world-renowned Tours of Chatterbox Falls (Princess Louisa Inlet), Skookumchuk Narrows, and Edgemont to Saltry Bay Ferry (both within a 2 hour drive).
