The Bisbee Loft was completely remodeled in 2010, and opened - June 1, 2011.

Twelve inches of insulation in the ceiling, and ten inch brick walls keep the building cool and comfortable. Oversize fans and windows make air conditioning unnecessary even on the hottest days. The central heating unit is top of the line and keeps the temperature at your precise setting.

While the building is downtown, near several bars and restaurants, with the double-pane windows in the front and the bedrooms in the back, it is actually surprisingly quiet. The backyard and deck is an oasis of peace and quiet.

The place is very large and light, with a big cupola/skylight in the center. Art work is everywhere, some of it by the owners. Many of the pieces are available for purchase if you are interested.

The yard is pretty big, with a patio for sunbathing, and an 800 square foot deck covered with smoked plastic. A couple of fans keep it nice and cool.

A beautiful New York loft style apartment with two bedrooms, a regulation-size pool table, two seating areas, a complete kitchen with all the pots and pans, HD television, high speed internet access, beautiful bath rooms, a large covered deck with option to sleep outside (one double, one single bed), large ceiling fans, a fenced yard, a washer and dryer, and lots of original art works everywhere. Located downtown Old Bisbee, with restaurants, bars, museums, coffee shops and art galleries within a few blocks, you can rent our Bisbee Loft with up a group of up to 8 people.

The Master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom a queen. There is a full sofa bed in the living area, a double and a single bed on the deck. We have air mattresses in case you have more people. Ask for details. We do what we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

About Darquise Decoz and Hans Decoz

Darquise is an accomplished weaver and bead artist. Her studio downstairs is stocked with yarn, bead art, woven yardage, and more. You will also find many ceramic sculptures by Hans Decoz.

Darquise is your host and will go out of her way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Please don't hesitate to contact her for anything you might need.

Bisbee has the best climate in the world, is quaint and beautiful, and is populated by wonderful people, many of them artists. The surrounding nature is gorgeous, mountains and forests, several national parks, and only an hour and a half from the Chiracuhuas. Coronado National park is only 15 miles away.

What makes this apartment unique

Our loft is located smack in the middle of all the action. Local events (Gay Pride parade, Bisbee Daze, July 4, etc.) are usually held in the Gulch, right in front of the building.

Once you park your vehicle, you may not need to use it again until you leave. There is a wonderful old-world market a couple of blocks away. Roka, the Bisbee Grill, Santiago, Sully's, St. Elmo's, the Stock Exchange, the Tap Room, the Grand, Cafe Cornucopia, Poco,s, the Coffee Shop, the Post Office, Convention Center, and many galleries are all within a block or two of our building.

Next to St. Elmo's, oldest running bar in Arizona. Excellent restaurants near by. You are within walking distance of pretty much everything Bisbee has to offer, galleries, antique shops, etc. The City Park is one block away. Coffee shop near by. We had the pleasure of experiencing the "Loft" along with some of our friends and thouroughly enjoyed our entire stay. Darquise is more than accommodating and her personal touch has gone into every nook and cranny of this beautiful place. We can't wait to return and have another relaxing weekend in such a lovely place!

The Biggest Space in Bisbee!

A grand space, hearkening one back to Bisbee's earlier heyday. Except that it has been lovingly restored and decorated with every traveller's comfort in mind. A veritable art museum to explore, coffee table books to delight every palate, plush seating, wonderful natural light. And this doesn't even address the back patio---a terraced mecca with sumptious bed (yes, bed!!!) and couches, winding pathways and Bisbee views. The king bedroom is a haven, removed from the street, easily darkened. Darquise is most gracious and very private.

We recently stayed at the Bisbee Loft over the holidays with my in-laws. My mother-in-law is a property manager and has access to terrific vacation rentals. It was our turn to host this year so the pressure was on. This turned out to be the best vacation rental yet!!! Everything you expect from a five star property; terrific location, very clean, great amenties (including locally roasted coffee). Our favortite aspects of the property, although, were the non traditional. The pool table was impeccably cared for, original art adorned the entire space, and our favorite......the patio. We spent an entire afternoon just playing games, napping and drinking local wine. What a divine trip. Thanks Darquise!

Fantastic rental!

This place is absolutely beautiful! The decor, attention to detail, great artwork, vivid colors, and cleanliness are all top notch. The photos give a great idea of what to expect, but can only give you a glimpse of this luxurious and gorgeous apartment. The location is perfect for experiencing the charm and character of Bisbee. The outdoor deck and patio are wonderful as well. We enjoyed this space so much that it was difficult to pull ourselves away to explore the rest of Bisbee. A perfect spot for a romantic weekend. Darquise is a wealth of information about restaurants and live music in town. The kitchen is well equipped if you plan on cooking. I would absolutely recommend this rental, and I hope to return in the future.
