House, 2 Bedrooms + Den, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

This is your home away from home when visiting Santa Barbara. Two-bedrooms, 1.5 baths, large covered patio for al-fresco dining, reading, relaxing. Walk up four steps to the outdoor swimming pool and new BBQ grill after you've come back from exploring.

Ride the bikes (there are two at the house, but you can walk to the Wharf area and rent more) to town or to the wharf where you can shop, dine out, or just take in the beautiful views and smell the salt in the air.

Santa Barbara offers wonderful festivities all year round and is famous for it's beautiful Spanish style downtown area, restaurants, beaches, courthouse, museums, zoo, live theater, concerts, shopping and more.

Come stay in a great neighborhood, convenient to everything you need to make your visit fun and relaxing, without the expense of renting a hotel room in this upscale town.

The pool is large and has a large deck with patio furniture, BBQ grill and privacy.

If you don't want to walk to Shoreline Cafe (right on the beach!) or Brophy Bros(at the Wharf). for the best clam chowder, fresh oysters, or fish tacos while watching dophins swim by (and the occasional whale), the kitchen has everything you need to make snacks for a picnic at the beach, or cook your meals for an outdoor party in the lanai. There is plenty of seating in the formal dining area, eat-in kitchen or in the patio (there are two!).

The living room has a large fireplace and the den has a TV with cable, DVD player, a computer and WiFi connection for those with a laptop.

The two bedrooms are cozy and each have a small TV. There is a convertible sofa in the den that sleeps 1 adult or 2 children as well. There is plenty of room for an aerobed if you need more sleeping room.

The main bathroom has a tub and shower. There is also a half bath convenient to the outdoor patio/pool.

Bicycles, games, hundreds of paperback books (take one home!), pool toys are all available to make your stay enjoyable.

a cozy great convenient house in Santa Barbara

I was there this summer with my 2 kids for 5 weeks. And it was excellent !!!!!!!!. the house is walking distance to shoreline and the beach. The patio is big, private with a pool, and a great barbecue.
The owners are fantastic and try to help using everything we requested, so we could accomplish a great stay. The neighbors are nice and very quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and ready for us when we got there.
I would recommend this house and I would go back again. Is a very nice place to call home, in Santa Barbara.

Home is very comfortable and well appointed inside and out. Property is clean and well maintained. Spacious kitchen, plenty of seating for dining. Outside areas (front and back) are particularly nice. Located close enough to town and the beach for easy access, but far enough away to be in a quiet neighborhood. Definite recommend, especially for families with older (8+ years old) children. Had a very good stay.

A lovely homey rental. What made it special in addition to the cleanliness and all of the normal "home features" were all the touches made by the owner of books, games, tvs, etc. The only downside was that the swimming pool wasn't heated and made the initial dip a bit shocking.

This was our first experience in renting a house in the States. The house was extremely clean and the layout was perfect. The back patio area and pool were amazing. Everything we needed was available. The owner was "over the top" accommodating our every request. The personal touch is the biggest reason that will bring us back.

Marathon Weekend

My husband and I have rented many places over the years. We truly enjoyed this home and used all of it! This was the big marathon race weekend and the after event festivities were held here. Due to the weather we didn't get to enjoy the pool, however the BBQ and the Lanai were perfect for the 12 of us! Everyone felt like they were home for the weekend at "grandma's house". A quite neighborhood, you never knew anyone was around you, close to the water, comfy beds (they didn't squeak!!!). The home was clean, offered some unexpected amenities (the red binder was a great surprise!), very comfortable and the owners/managers were wonderful to work with. Thank you for sharing your family home with us!
