STUNNING VILLA, IN TULEMAR, OCEAN VIEWS, PVT BEACH, POOL, SLEEPS 7

We had a family of 7 and we all fit very comfy. The view of the ocean were great. We spent almost all of our time on the patio when we were in the house just sitting by the pool and watching the sunset every night. The properties location was great. Easy access to everything. Diego our house manager always made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. We also got a personal chef to come cook for us the first night we arrive and oh boy we had a lot of food. Food was good, service was great. We felt the house was a good value. It fit our family nicely and had wonderful amenities. Lots of wildlife to view and beautiful sunsets too. We will be back.

We loved the beach! Even the photographs on the website don't do it justice. Tropical forest meets crescent of sand and the warmest sea I've ever swum in. Always some shade for those of us who need it. Very clean, safe to swim which is great for this coast. Not really a place to snorkel, but the free kayaks were brilliant: a lot of fun. As were the chairs and towels, and pay-at-the-end beach cafe. We thought the lunches were very good (not cheap, but this place isn't) and the strawberry smoothie was well worth the walk! I'm just thinking about us relaxing over lunch while watching a troop of capuchin monkeys scampering over the ropes of the cafe awning. Bliss.
We stayed in Nido de Gansos. Wow. Cool, spacious, immaculate, spotlessly maintained. Oh, the pool! The first day we were there, we watched a female three-toed sloth with baby climbing slowly along the cecropia tree right next to our balcony. Black vultures and a few magnificent frigate birds wheeling above the trees by the ocean. Cherrie's tanager posing in trees below. Rufous-tailed hummingbird in porterweed from the loo window. Amazing we even made it down the trails, so much to see.
Management and concierge service supremely efficient. Bill, our concierge, was immensely helpful, laid-back and lovely.
We travelled a long way for a relatively short time, and we all felt we'd found the very best place to be in Manuel Antonio/Quepos. Thank you, all the team: it was a great holiday. We will be back.

It was a life long dream of ours to go to the amazing country of Costa Rica and we did a ton of research where to stay. I booked our vacation at Tulemar based upon two things--the high reviews here on Tripadvisor, and the excellent help and responsiveness from Julien during the booking process. I emailed with Julien and he was very helpful in our decision where we would stay on the property. We were two families with 3 children, aged 6 and under. We stayed for six nights in Nido de Gansos.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Julien and our concierge for the week, Mauricio! They both were very friendly and Mauricio took us to our house for the week. We were blown away as the door swung open to reveal the most gorgeous place we have seen. We were giddy with excitement and ran out onto the balcony and the view took our breath away. Views of the Pacific and mountains...it didn't feel real! Mauricio had a huge smile on his face watching us, as I'm sure he frequently sees this with the guests. We mentioned that we were hungry, and he took us down to the beach restaurant on the property. Lou, the restaurant manager was great and the food was very good too. The view was perfect of the ocean and beach.

Mauricio was wonderful to us and made sure we had everything we could possibly need for our stay. He took us to the local grocery so we could get stocked up on essentials, helped plan our week with any excursions we wanted and set up dinner reservations for us. He also coordinated a private chef for us on our last night. The meal was exceptional! Fresh fish, and pineapple flambe....what a great end to our trip! Mauricio made sure everything was easy for us and that was very appreciated by our group! We always felt we were in good hands with him and we had a top-notch experience and stay while in Tulemar.

The house we stayed in was well-appointed, beautiful, and clean. We were very comfortable in the home, even with two families. The view was perfect, and the pictures don't do it justice. There are neighboring homes, but we didn't really notice them and it was very quiet. There was a daily maid service and every morning she left us with a fresh pack of coffee from Cafe Milagro. Bonus!

The property is very well maintained, the pools are clean and very pretty. One of the family pools had bar service which was great after a long day of zip lining. You have to stay in Tulemar. It is a must.
