Villa Curacao is a comfortable home, centrally located yet its position is quiet, beneath the famous Tappeinerweg. Only five walking minutes from the thermal centre and from the summer and winter promenade. It has a pretty and well-kept garden with a lawn for sun-bathing. You can relax under the pergola surrounded by lovely flowers and enjoy the things you’ve prepared on the nearby grill. The apartment is comfortably and tastefully furnished and located towards south/southwest. It consists of a Tyrolian living-room with 2 extractable beds, bedroom with double-bed and one extractable spare-bed, fully-equipped separate kitchen, bathroom and huge balcony. TV and radio with alarm-clock, safe and hair-dryer are also at disposal, as well as parking facility.

Merano has been a famous Thermal Spa town in South-Tyrol for the last 150 years, well known all over the world for its Mediterranean climate. It was the meeting-place of the European reigning families before the First World War and has remained up to our days a much desired holiday destination. Its winter promenade invites you in winter to leisurely sit, during the midday hours, even in your shirt-sleeves in the open-air, surrounded by the many palms and enjoy the warm sun-rays. Merano is a much-loved holiday resort, especially during the summer-months and invites you to explore the landscape in the many surrounding valleys. A special attraction in our town is also the Italian food served in its speciality-restaurants, but also in the small inns where traditional dishes are cooked using old family recipes.

Villa Curacao is a centrally located, comfortable and quiet Villa. Every apartment has two television connections, a safe and hair-dryer. We assist you in your cultural interests or sportive activities.
  • Spending the winter in Merano: During the months of November 2007 as well as January and February 2008 we offer you our comfortably and tastefully furnished apartments consisting of Tyrolean living-room with extractable beds, bed-room with double-bed or three single beds, kitchenette, bathroom and 1 or 2 balconies with a special discount of 50% on the daily rate, for 2 persons, linen included, if staying min. 1 month. As I travel a great deal myself, I would like to see to it that all your wishes be fulfilled, in order that you should spend an enjoyable holiday. I would also like to assist you in all ways, whether it concerns your cultural interests or your sportive activities.

Ski: Merano 2000, which we here call our town mountain, was laid out at 2000m from sea-level in a way that all the skiing-slopes descend to the south. It is a real skiing paradise for our guests and for ourselves. Can be reached in 15 minutes even by bus from Villa Curacao. But there are excellent skiing conditions also in all the valleys which end in Merano and which can be reached in a short time, like the Ulten Valley, Passirio Valley, Nons Valley, Venosta Valley with its glacier.

Golf: Very near to Merano there are two idyllically situated golf links. One lies 3 miles from Merano, surrounded by fruit orchards and wine-yards in the Valley of the river Adige. The other lies at a distance of 8 miles from Merano, in the Valley of the river Passirio, surrounded by meadows, fields and forests.
