Ruby Jordan purchased this cabin in 2006
We grew up in Broken Bow OK, as did our parents. Our children live here as well.
This is the only cabin, besides the owners' home, on the property. It is very secluded and surrounded by forest and wildlife.
Note from owner: these comments were left in cabin journal:
Thank you, the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire. It was very fun. Thank you for letting us come here.
My new friend and I decided to take a weekend away from the city and explore the Beavers Bend area and this cozy cabin in the woods was an absolute delight for our stay. This cabin was stocked with way more than the staple items of salt & peper. They leave pancake mix, syrup, and butter for the guests! There were many other items the kitchen was stocked with as well. They also leave full size shampoo, conditioner & blow dryer in the oversized bathroom. The hot tub was perfect for the evenings and offers an open view of the sky. The cabin even provides robes so you can be comfortable on your walk to and from the hot tub. This place is very private and beautiful. I will always have a fond memory of this cabin in the woods and plan to return one day to build on that memory. If you want to get away from your busy life for a comfortable relaxing time, Hochatown Hideout is the place to go.
This was our second stay at Clifton & Ruby's cabin in Hochatown. It's the perfect spot for our family, and haas something for us all. It's just minutes from Broken Bow Lake, motorcycle trails, restaurants, Body Harmony Spa, and Girls Gone Wine. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and stocked with so many extras. We especially love the hot tub and fire pit to end our day. The Jordan's are a sweet couple and we can't wait to see them again. Yes, we've already booked our third visit
My husband and I had a great anniversary get-away in this precious cabin. Everything we needed was at the cabin, just add a few groceries and cook in the full kitchen. The area is beautiful and the hot tub was great for relaxing! We also enjoyed a nice fire in the outside firepit! A few miles from town and the lake, which made nice, short day trips! The owners are a joy to work with, very accommodating!
The stay at this little cabin was just what my wife and i needed. Secluded in the woods, very peaceful but still only a few miles from town. We enjoyed a nice drink and soothing time in the hot tub as well. Owners are very accommodating with all the little extras and kindness.
Too many positives to list. Relatively easy to find despite its secluded location. Well appointed. Very clean. Private. Close to Beaver's Bend state park (10 mins). Abundant wildlife and an overall relaxing environment. My wife and I, as well as our two year old daughter stayed for two nights and would not hesitate to stay again. The cabin was as advertised and included all of the things that you inevitably forget to bring. The hot tub was absolutely fantastic. The owners live onsite and were very friendly.
My husband and I spent our 34th wedding anniversary at this precious little cabin. It was all and more than described. Beautiful area away from town, but close enough to be there in 10 minutes!! Ruby and Clifton are the perfect hosts and provide everything you need for the perfect getaway!!
We're just minutes from the Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake, miniature golf, Cedar Creek Golf Course, horseback riding, hiking, biking, bird-watching. Something for everyone. Many of our guests don't want to do anything but sit on the porch enjoying the sights and sounds of God's creation. Two-night minimum stay; three-nights on holiday weekends.
