House, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6-8)

Single family home on 1.6 acres. Living room, dining room, full kitchen, master bedroom w/queen size bed, second bedroom has queen bed and third bedroom has trundle bed (two singles). one large bath with laundry (full size washer and dryer).

Large multicar drive way. Plenty of room on drive or property to park r/v(no r/v hook ups), travel trailer or boat trailer.

Nice moutain view and running creek.

Keywords: Single family house on 1.6 acres at base of Gateway Mountain. Have a picnic on the creek bank and let the sound of the easy flowing water take you away. Visit near by attractions; Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, The Biltmore, Black Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns or just sit on the front porch and enjoy the view of the mountains.

We enjoyed staying here and our kids enjoyed playing outside. Gorgeous view from the living room and front porch. The home was very accomodating and it felt like a home away from home. The location was very convenient to/from I40 and was quiet even with several neighbors. We strongly recommend this place for families with kids; however, the only problem is that there is only one bathroom. I also recommend that a step be placed going into the master bedroom as there is a sudden drop-off which could be a safety issue as it took me by surprise. Overall, we loved our stay and the weather was perfect!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
