About Dana An
I've been a summer guest on Martha's Vineyard for many years and find that this is a time of particular abundance on the island. I am a writer, an artist and a psychotherapist working with children, adolescents and families. In my spare time, I love to explore new places, cook with fresh ingredients, and stay in touch with friends and family. I live in Boston.

Why Dana An chose Gay Head - Aquinnah
My husband and I chose this property because of its location on the western tip of the island, which is just where we wanted to spend our vacation time. We are city folk and we like height; our roofdeck hideaway felt just right.
What makes this house unique
The house is tall and narrow and private, with only a few neighbors nearby. The kitchen feels open and spacious and it is possible to prepare dinner while the sky is changing color. We've prepared elegant multi-course dinners and simple, basic dinners using the fresh ingredients found all around on the island. The house offers access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and little compares to taking time to watch the sunset from the roofdeck.
Guestbook comments from the owner
It was a pleasure to have booked and lived in Dana's home for a week. We had very good contacts and advices from Dana and although she could not be present during our stay, she left very good information.
The house is tall with 3 terraces, in the middle of the forest, simple but with all of the modern comforts (hi-fi, DVD, laundry, dishwasher) and some bicycles were put at my disposal. In my point of view, it's best to have a car at this part of the island.
