GREAT STAY IN A GREAT PLACE

  • 5 of 5
We enjoyed our stay so very much. The location was perfect for us,very convienent to shopping and downtown. The house ,itself was gorgeous yet comfortable. The owner had thought of everything.the home was spotless when we arrived and was very easy to keep clean( beautiful colored concrete floors). The owner was there to fill us in on all the details and answer all questions. He even left us a list of restaurants and entertainment. We were in town for our son's wedding which was held at Rosy's JazzHall, one block away. I would highly recommend this lovely home to my friends and relatives. Dick and Jenny's down the street is delicious and Rouses grocery store is within easy walking distance. Loved our stay and love New Orleans.

EXCEPTIONAL, BEYOND EXPECTATIONS.

  • 5 of 5
My family and I have stayed in many vacation homes throughout the US and abroad and this by far is superior to all. The house is beautiful, and everything that you can imagine is there for your use. The location was great, and our host, Reed and Jason were most gracious and informative. Would highly recommend this home and we look forward to staying again real soon. Patricia and family

BETTER THAN HOME!

  • 5 of 5
Reed and Jason are the BEST hosts. Forget what you think you know about vacation rentals or timeshare weeks because this house is home x10. From the second you drive thru the gate, you're greeted by beautiful landscaping and meticulous grounds. Enter the house, and you are immediately in awe of the beautiful furnishings. Explore further, and you realize that Reed and Jason have anticipated any need you might have during your stay. It truly is the little things, like plush rugs on the floors, remote shades on the windows, note paper in the desk, and cooking spices in the kitchen - and so, so much more. Bring yourself and a few groceries (Rouse's one block away) and lose yourself in the perfect New Orleans stay.

BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, AND WELL MAINTAINED PROPERTY

  • 5 of 5
We came to New Orleans from Denver to join my parents (from Texas) and my fiance's parents (from Michigan) to finalized details for our New Orleans wedding which takes place in June. It was the first time my parents would meet my future husband's parents, and we all stayed in the home together. This home was the perfect place to stay since we could spread out old baby photos (to be used in our rehearsal), look at wedding plans, chat about the cake tastings, meetings with florists, etc., and relax at the end of our long days. Staying in a vacation rental was just wonderful because we could relax together and talk about things rather than have to meet in a crowded hotel lobby if we were to stay in a hotel!

Reed, the owner, has put so much thought and care into this property from the moment you walk into the courtyard with the beautifully manicured landscaping to the gorgeous and tastefully decorated interior. The home is updated, clean, organized, and has wonderful artwork. The bed was super comfy and I heard the other beds were very comfortable from the everyone else. The bathrooms were large, and it was great to have a nice, clean private bath (unlike many hotels). The supermarket is just down the street a couple of blocks. We made dinner one night - it was super easy getting groceries and walking back. Everything we needed for cooking was in the kitchen and was very easy to find. It was very comfortable and great to have conversations with family around the dining table.

Next door to the rental is a famous snow cone place and it had a line out the door! Great and refreshing to eat. One morning I head out to run and went a few blocks up to Magazine Street. It was just beautiful and such a wonderful location.

I highly recommend staying here if you want to stay in Uptown near Magazine and explore other areas of New Orleans besides just the French Quarter. Since we are getting married in the French Quarter, we did take a lot of taxis to and from which was a little cumbersome, but in the end, it was refreshing to be in a nice home after a long day of running around doing errands in the French Quarter and around town.

ELEGANT UPTOWN BUNGALOW!

  • 5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Reed was very responsive and helpful and getting the house coordinated. The house is tastefully decorated and very clean. There was even amenities in each bathroom which was very helpful in case anybody forgot a toothbrush or something. The house was great for three young couples as it's close to everything you want to do in town. It was only about a $12 cab ride from the French quarter. Excellent place, we can't wait to come back!

GARDEN DISTRICT HAVEN

  • 5 of 5
I completely agree with all other reviews of this property. It is a spacious and elegant home with every imaginable comfort. It worked well for my family as each daughter had her own room and bath (not to mention flatscreen tv!) while we visited our Loyola student. Reed, the owner, is a perfect Southern gentleman who graciously welcomed us and provided many tips for dining and sightseeing. The deposit was returned promptly upon our return home. I would recommend this beautifully decorated home for mature singles, couples and families with responsible children. We definitely plan to return!
