We offer three roomy, comfortable apartments in nice scenery. You can spend an unforgettable holiday in the picturesque, quiet mountain village in every season. Every apartment has room for 2-4 adults and 2 children. All kitchens are completely furnished, bathroom, toilet, living room where the guests take their meals, couch and easy chairs, bedroom. From every balcony you have a fantastic view to the mountains. The largest apartment has an extra bedroom for children. You get all bed sheets, towels, baby carriage, sledge, games free. Pets are welcome, too. The Alps offer a great variety of sports and wellness from relaxing to fun active sports. Mountaineering, climbing, hiking, canoeing, tennis, golf in summer and downhill (in Oberjoch and Oberstdorf) and cross country skiing along the river Ostrach and skating and sledging in winter. Covered pool, sauna, nature bath, bakery nearby. Health and beauty treatment are possible.

From the balcony of this apartment you have a fantastic view to the east on the mountains and the waterfalls. The living room has over 40 sqm and a green velvet carpeted floor. The ceiling is panelled with wood and forms an arch. The dining area is attractive and furnished with a large pinewood table and chairs, as is the sitting group with a black leather couch and matching easy chairs. The atmosphere is romantic and cosy.Two foldaway beds are available if needed. The children's bedroom has a sleeping gallery. The parents bedroom has a double bed and a baby cot. The bathroom is tiled in orange with a bathtub ( you can relax after a mountaineering tour),a toilet and a washbasin. The entrance is furnished with a wardrobe and a mirror. The apartment is roomy 86sqm and is situated on the second floor. The owner lives downstairs on the ground floor, speaks perfect English and will help with advice to make your holiday unforgettable.

Hinterstein is the last village of the valley of the river Ostrach. In former times it was the hunting area of the Bavarian kings. Today it is the starting point for hiking and mountain climbing (also for seniors or guests with children, light tours, well known climbing tours or just walking. The animals and flowers of the valley are always admired and photographed. A waterfall, natural bath,(200 m), playing ground, paths along the river Ostrach, carriage museum and the way to the Giebelhaus (the valley divides here and ends up in the mountains),(here you can see the golden eagle) are very special for friends of nature all year through. Wherever you go, you see the magnificence of scenery of the mountains and the meadows, where the cows graze in summer and the marmot whistles. Our valley is the most beautiful valley of Bavaria (so a television journalist said).Restaurants and bakery are near by. We are situated 865 m above sea level and our mountain air is good for allergic people.

In the Allgäu there are a few golf courses which you can reach within an hour. Oberstdorf, Sonnenalp, Fischen, Ottobeuren, Steibis

Along the river Ostrach there is the cross country trace for cross country skiing. Downhill skiing in Oberjoch, Oberstdorf, and many other places. Sledging at the Hornbahn, and down from Schwarzenberg and for little children from the hill next to the house.

Beside Haus 'Gabi' the Hotel 'Waidmannsheil' is situated. You can have breakfast there from 8 - 10 o'clock from the buffet, it costs 10 Euro per person.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Haus Gabi!
Gute Ausstattung, gemütliche Wohnung, große Zimmer, viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen, tolle Spazierwege mit Spielplätzen! Wandertouren, die direkt vor der Haustüre starten! Freibad bzw. Naturbad in 5 Minuten erreichbar!
Für Kind, Hund und Kegel einfach paradiesisch!
Preis-Leistungsverhältnis völlig in Ordnung!!!

Schöne ruhige Lage, saubere Wohnung und alles was amn braucht vorhanden. So schön hat es mancher zuhause nicht. Dazu sehr nette Vermieter. Wir und unsere beiden Hunde haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Winter sind wir bestimmt wieder da.

Groß & Gemütlich

Die Ferienwohnung 3 ist sehr groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Balkon ist super für Hund und Raucher :-), In der Wohnung war eigentlich alles vorhanden und es fehlte uns Nichts, schade war nur, dass die Küche und die Küchengeräte nicht sauber waren, so dass man sie nicht benutzen mochte :-(... Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen, einen Bäcker gibt es ein paar Häuser weiter und ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, kommt man schnell zu einem Erlebnis Restaurant (beim Freibad) bietet rund um die Uhr warme, sehr leckere Küche...
Owner's Response: Während des Aufenthaltes fragte ich nach, ob alles in Ordnung sei, wie bei jedem Gast und diese Frau äußerte keinerlei Kritik. Ein paar Krümmel im Toaster oder sonstiges wären an Ort und Stelle schnell beseitigt gewesen, denn "nobody is perfect", aber sie verlangte keinerlei Nachbesserung und äußerte sich rundum zufrieden. Sauberkeit und das Wohlergehen meiner Gäste sind mir ein ernstes Anliegen. Auf Wünsche reagiere ich grundsätzlich sofort. In meinem Haus beherberge ich pro Jahr ca. 100 verschiedene Gruppen von Gästen, von denen 98 zufrieden sind und viele seit Jahren gerne wiederkommen.

Vom Frühstück dirket in die Loipe ...

Wir, zwei Pärchen aus Kostanz, hatten in der Ferienwohnung 1 drei Wunderschöne Tage im Haus Gabi im schön verschneiten Hinterstein. Die Wohnung ist großzügig und sauber und bietet gleichermaßen Schlaf- und Wohnraum. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden, auch mit dem leichten Einstieg in die Loipe, die in's Ende des Tales führt, aber auch nach Bad Oberdorf. Ein Höhepunkt dabei ein Abendessen in der Oberen Mühle!!!

Vielen dank für die gute Harmonie im Haus, auch beim Kontakt mit den anderen Hausgästen.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Wir haben uns im Haus Gabi sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Wohnung hat in userem Fall genügend Platz für 2 Familien mit je 2 Kindern geboten.
Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet,geräumig hell und sauber.
Die Gegend an sich bietet so viele Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung, sodass unser Urlaub eigentlich zu kurz
war.
Aber wir kommen gerne auch mal wieder.
