Close to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage on Bryan Lake in the village of Lake Ann, 15 minutes west of Traverse City. Bryan Lake is a small no motors lake, good for fishing perch, bluegills and bass. Canoe included. Cottage sits on hill overlooking the lake and dock. Perfect for a couple looking for a quiet getaway.

About The Owner

My husband Dan & I are both insurance agents. We have 2 teenagers and we love to travel.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 1999
Why The Owner chose Lake Ann

This property has been in my family for generations. My grandparents operated a small resort with efficiency cottages in the 1950's and 1960's. This is the last remaining cottage of their resort.

What makes this cottage unique

Our little lake is quiet and peaceful yet only 15 minutes to Traverse City and 20 minutes to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes

Thank you for the wonderful weekend. We loved the quiet, relaxing retreat. My husband and I took a moonlight outing on your boat...it was beautiful! We also were able to have a bond fire and enjoy the night sounds :) One night we heard a loon off in the distance. What a blessing it was to have that time together, thank you!

A Peace of Heaven

Perfect, cozy and comfortable. I loved every minute of my week in this beautiful, little cottage. Just what I needed for the relaxation and solitude I was seeking. On a private, small lake; wonderful neighbors if you needed anything/help...very frinedly but, unintrusive. Except for a very welcomed greeting by a neighbor 's beautiful lab named Pearl and his master, I was left completely on my own. You won't believe this is a "tourist spot". You just feel it's a well kept secret for those who are trusted with the unwritten rules which go with a private lake; no motor rule (written) for boats; one fish reserved for you (the rest were obviously reserved for my neighbors...all of the same family btw :-); your own little row boat and a well respected 'quiet rule' (I felt guity just sneezing outdoors). Hated to leave; fell in love with the cottage and all the efforts made to insure I had a memorable time. Thank you J and D! DC

This property provided our family with a relaxing retreat in the Northwest region of Michigan. The property was well maintained and comfortable.The recent upgrades and new paint were appreciated. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and swimming on the lake. The location was great for our visits to the Cherry Festival in Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear / Glen Lake area. Thanks for allowing us to share your cottage treasure.
