Photos and Description of the Winter Garden vacation bungalow rental
Bungalow, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

We have owned Vista since 2004 and have spent many happy days here, and (hopefully) have helped the vast majority of our guests to have a fabulous Florida holiday, and many excellent reviews and comments in our guest book.

The bungalow is approximately 1640 sq feet in size with a lounge / dining area, fully fitted kitchen with breakfast area, fully screened porch with patio table and chairs, cottage suite and TV. The lounge has a 37 inch HDTV with cable channels and there are two portable TVs for use, plus a TV in the rear porch.

The master bathroom is huge with a large round tub, separate shower and twin vanity units. The master bedroom and guest bedroom both have queen size beds with built in closets, both having new mattress sets in 2012, and the third bedroom has twin over full bunk bed, ideal for the kids.

The master bathroom has been refurbished (2012) and we put new luxurious sofas, (three seater and a loveseat, plus a recliner chair, in the lounge (2012). New carpets have been fitted in the lounge and master bedoom (late 2011) and in the queen guest bedroom (2012).

Externally there is a carport and shed and a west facing patio area to the rear of the shed with all weather furniture, and a view of the lake, and the most beautiful Florida sunsets.

There is a community pool just a couple of minutes from the home, which is usually quiet. If you want to mingle, there are two other pools, just a short distance in the other direction, at the main reception area, where you will also find all of the amenities such as the pool room, sauna, play area etc.

The community is about 50/50 residential and vacation homes, and we have found it to be very friendly and the gated (staffed)entrance gives that added feeling of security. Although we have since bought a pool home, we still stay at Vista out of choice sometimes, because we love the relaxed, friendly lifestyle there.

About The Owner

Jeff and I bought Vista after staying at a friends villa in 2003. We'd been visiting Florida since 1990, but just fell in love with the community at Vista so decided to buy a home there and have never looked back. It was a big step for we cautious Brits to take but we have never regretted a moment of it!

Because we visited the Orlando area so many times before we bought it, we knew what people were looking for on a trip to Florida, so we have tried to provide as much as possible to make it a home from home, after a busy day at the theme parks.

The Owner purchased this bungalow in 2004
Why The Owner chose Winter Garden

One of the things we liked about Vista was the fact that it was close to Disney, but in a relatively quiet area on the US 192. There has been some retail development since then, restaurants supermarkets etc, which have added to the amenities without detracting from the area. We also liked the feeling of security and the friendly atmosphere. Having looked at several other homes during the course of a long day, we walked into this one last viewing, and although it was in a sorry state we just fell in love with it's location and the rear aspect, especially the porch! We have spent many, many, hours bringing it up to a high standard.

We are snowbirds and this is our 8th year in this house. We find it great. We have everything we need and more. Sandra and Jeff are always improving conditions around the house. We are extemely happy with the accommodations. We just hope we can continue to come for years to come. If there ever is a problem, it is attended to immediately. We would certainly recommend staying here.

Thank you for sharing your home and allowing us to experience a wonderful stay with our family. It was such a relief to arrive after a very long trip (1250 miles) and be pleasantly surprised by what you have to offer with your home. The location was great in relation to all the attractions. The gated community and it’s offerings with pools, lakes etc. was a big plus. The house itself was the best part – it has a well laid out floor plan that allowed us to be together as a family but also gave us the option to find area of privacy for personal downtime. You have done a great job with details at the house, from the decor to all the amenities that you offer inside and out. You gave us all the comforts and conveniences of being at home. The cleanliness and neatness were appreciated and noted as soon as we walked in the door for the first time. You have made coordinating this stay from the beginning all very easy. We appreciate all the kind hospitality that you have offered us with every thing.

Really enjoyed our stay at Vista. The villa was beautiful, with everything you could need and beautiful with views of the lake from the back porch, where we would sit on an evening watching the sun go down. The amenities were first rate, with a pool just minutes away and shops close by including a number of supermarkets. We also enjoyed riding the bikes around the estate taking in the sights. We will certainly be returning, 10 out of 10.

Need to relax ? THIS IS THE PLACE.

We have just returned from the most relaxing holiday we have ever had.Sandra & Jeffs villa is Beautifully furnished,spotlessly clean and equipped to the highest standard.It was just heaven sitting on the loungers on the patio overlooking the lake.There are lots of great restaurants nearby and very good shopping malls.
There is also a place called Disney World nearby we are told [only kidding we did the parks years ago when our children were young] Now we just want the sun, the food the ,occasional ice cold beer and relaxation.We,ve been back home now for 24 hours and have already booked for next year.IT'S THAT GOOD.!!
