Charming lake house on an acre with awesome view of Lake Cumberland (Fishing Creek) from the master bedroom and deck!Bottom deck has swing, upper deck has table, chairs, umbrella and propane grill.It is sunny on the rear deck and shaded in the front by 22 trees! Two rockers on the front porch await you for those cool mornings.Located near Lee’s Ford Marina where you can rent water craft and they provide entertainment all summer and with a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner all year long.They also have a shuttle to their dock during season.

We have recently installed 2 Trane a/c units at the lake house that will ensure a good nights sleep. The house is close to grocery, mall, restaurants and the town of Somerset which has recently updated their square and now serves spirits at their sit down restaurants after 90 years!

The lake is almost back to its normal level making this a good time to visit.

If you choose to to go to Somerset, Ky you must stay here. It is centrally located to most everything and you feel as if you are far away!

Deposit Information: A $500.00 advance deposit is required with reservation. Using Book it NOW,or money order or cashiers check.

Personal checks will not reserve the property until they are cleared a minimum of 15 days after receipt.

Deposit will be used as security against damage, or loss of personal property during the renters stay. There is a 75.00 cleaning fee and in the event you have a pet, there is an additional non refundable cleaning fee of 100.00 which can be deducted from your deposit.

After the rental period, the deposit will be refunded to renter if no damage, cleaning or property replacement is required.

The net deposit due will be sent within 5 days of the last day of the rent period. Assessment for damages will be at the discretion of the property manager.

Cancellation Policy: Reservation should be made no less than 15 days before the vacation rent period begins. Cancellation 30 days prior to the reservation will refund $400 of the deposit. Cancellations inside of 30 days will forfeit the entire deposit.

Had a great time. Cabin was very nice and in a great location for going into town and close to Marina's. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting on deck with a great view. Home is furnished with every thing that you would need for a stay away from home. Would go back in a heart beat.

We still have the lakehouse! Since you were there we have added 2 new A/C units. railroad ties in the landscape and at least memories of 10-15 different families!The best part is that the lake is coming up and the view from the master bed should be remarkable by summer! Don't know how to put in words but WoW! would be a good way to start..More then we thought we would get for under what you pay for some lesser resort properties i have stayed at..Very clean,nicely decorated,spacious, makes you feel you are special..The cabin is snuggled in a woodsy area yet close to everything.. Love the downstairs bedroom You can tell master craftsman were at work..Also a deck to die for ..spend your whole time outside Loved it..Bruno and I will never stay else where..

I am the "other" sister. this cottage on Cumberland Lake was perfect for all four of us, We all get along, but we each had our own space. My favorite place was the downstairs "suite" which had a separate deck overlooking the lake. Loved it! There is also a large deck on the main level and front porch with rocking chairs. We were really spoiled because the cottage was furnished with anything we needed. OH YEAH, WE ALMOST "WORE OUT" THE POPCORN MACHINE! Wish we were there now!!

I stayed in this Lake Cottage in May,2010 with my sisters and had a wonderful time. Everything is provided as stated and property is very clean and tastefully decorated. You are sitting right on the lake with a beautiful view which makes you relax and enjoy life. This vacation get-away is highly recommended to anyone looking for a perfect time. Kentucky is a beautiful state and many things to see and do.

Was delighted to find this lakehouse as my family is from Somerset, KY. The lakehouse is absolutely beautiful and very homey. Very roomy and tastefully decorated. Everything was furnished so just had to bring clothes and make ourselves at home. Sitting on the deck overlooking Lake Cumberland drinking coffee in the mornings and wine in the afternoons was an absolute delight. Very convenient to restaurants, shopping and didn't have to go very far to see some fascinating sights. Hopefully can visit again this year and for many years to come.
