MINUTES FROM TOKATEE, MCKENZIE RIVER TRAIL AND HOODOO - ADVENTURE VACATION!

McKenzie Bridge Lodge Rental Photos and Description

Lodge, 4 Bedrooms, 10 beds, 4 Baths, perfect for large groups. Small cabins too!

Gather your friends and family and escape to your private mountain getaway at the Delta House at Horse Creek Lodge - beautiful, comfortable lodging at affordable rates in the heart of the McKenzie River recreational valley. Nestled in the woods just off Highway 126, the McKenzie River Highway, but close to all the recreation and sightseeing the area has to offer. The Delta House is minutes away from world-class golfing at Tokatee, mountain biking on the McKenzie River Trail, Hoodoo Ski Area, rafting and fishing, and bountiful hiking trails throughout the Willamette National Forest. And if the Delta House is already booked during the dates you're interested in, give us a call and ask about our 3 beautiful cabins on the property as well.

The Delta House is a single-level home that boasts 4 beautifully furnished bedrooms, each with 2 or more beds, and a private full bath, and a tv with cable. All bed and bathroom linens are provided. Each room has a private entrance and faces out to the patio and the large courtyard, which features a barbeque and a small pond. Inside, you'll find a well-appointed, spacious kitchen that is equipped to suit all of your cooking and dining needs. You can easily serve groups of 20 or even more. Pass through the kitchen and dining room and you'll find yourself in a beautifully furnished, welcoming living room with lots of comfortable seating options as well as a grand wood fireplace.

Start the day with coffee on the patio, head out to Tokatee for a round or two of golf, maybe go for a stroll and take in the view at Sahalie Falls, then come back and grill some steaks on the barbeque. Finish off the night playing cards around the poker table, or maybe relaxing in front of the fire with a glass of wine. So many adventures and experiences await you here, there's something for everyone, no matter what your interests are!

For those interested in more adventures, ask us about our guided river rafting trips on the beautiful McKenzie River - perfect for people of all ages and ability levels. We also offer stand up paddle board rentals - they're a fun way to get out on the water and explore the beautiful and pristine waters of the many lakes and reservoirs in our area. If you're planning on exploring our world-class mountain bike trails, McKenzie River Trail, King-Castle, O'Leary, Olallie, etc., we offer shuttle service as well.

If the Delta House is already reserved during the dates you're interested in visiting us, just send us a message or give us a call and ask about our 3 adorable fully-equipped cabins on the property from only $120/night (summer) or $100 (low season). There's so much to do and see, you'll want to start planning your next visit before you even leave...most of our guests book their next trip upon departure! And don't let the snow dissuade you from making a winter trip - it's beautiful in the winter and the roads are very well maintained so we're accessible year round! There's even shuttle service available to take you wherever you want to go to play in the snow!

We're your typical 9-5 employees during the week, but we dream of retiring to the woods soon! We're outdoor enthusiasts who hope to inspire others to enjoy the outdoors as much as we do. When we're out at the property, we raft, hike, bike, or if it's wet or snowy, we just hunker down in front of a warm fire in the living room and read, play games or just relax.

The Owner purchased this lodge in 2011

My husband and I fell in love with the area last summer during one of our rafting trips on the McKenzie River. We decided we wanted to to be able visit more, but didn't want to have to camp, so why not buy a vacation home?! We enjoy the property year-round, as do the many golf groups, mountain bikers, skiiers, quilters, and just regular families who visit throughout the year. Most groups love the place so much that they book their next trip before they even check out!

The Delta House is tucked away off the main highway, surrounded by trees, so you're in a very private setting. You can hear the whisper of Horse Creek and the McKenzie River in the background, the sound of the wind rustling the leaves on the trees, catch a glimpse of wildlife - elk, deer - on the property. You have access to acres and acres of Forest Service Land, including some areas of old growth forests, that are only accessible through our property. It's beautiful year-round, no matter the weather! You're so close to Tokatee, Hoodoo, and so many trails for hiking, biking or just taking a stroll. We always have a hard time peeling ourselves away from the property!
