Skaneateles Lake, Skaneateles Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Adirondack setting with wonderful lake views/frontage
*** Last minute planners *** We are going to be putting this property on the market around April 30th so in order to not potentially ruin vacation plans if it sold, we are renting from the current day to 60 days out in the off chance it sold and new buyers didn't want to rent. We rent by the week (Sat. to Sat.) during the Summer and have a 2 night minimum in Spring/Fall.
The Lakehouse is located 9 miles down the west side (Route 41A) of Skaneateles Lake. We have 75 feet of lake Frontage and the house is situated on over 1/2 acre. You'll feel like you're in the Adirondacks, but only 10 minutes away from the quaint Village of Skaneateles.
There are 2 bedrooms on the main level with a full bath and a huge sleeping loft upstairs also with a full bath. The loft has a futon, sofa, love seat and several inflatable beds if needed. There is a finished basement w/ sleeper sofa. It's a great area for the kids. There are two TV's, a 32' downstairs and a 20' upstairs in the loft. Linens are provided.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances (Gas Range / Dishwasher / Refrigerator / Microwave). Also provided is a coffee maker, toaster, & blender.
There is a 36' x 14' deck with a table that seats six, several other chairs and a relaxing 3 person swing. Also provided is a Vermont Castings gas grill. There is a great fire pit overlooking the lake.
We have 75' of lake frontage with a 38' dock, mooring for a boat and 2 kayaks. We are on a cliff w/ 70 stairs to the water. The waterfront is shallow with a gradual walkout before getting deeper.
- children welcome

We purchased the land and built the lakehouse in 2006. We have 3 kids (4, 7, 10) that love coming here to swim. We live about 4.5 miles from the Lake House which makes it convenient to meet and greet our guests.
I spent all my Summers in Skaneateles as a kid and decided it would be a great place to raise our family.
