This newly renovated spacious 1600 square foot apartment is the upper unit of a small historic 1936 apartment building just a few blocks west of The Grove shopping center and the Original Farmer's Market.
The area is a designated historic district and our building maintains all the beauty and history of the neighborhood while boasting all the comforts of modern living.
Hardwood floors throughout the unit give warmth and the feeling of home to the unit. Double paned windows with low-e glass provide both conservation of energy and even more quiet inside from our quiet outside neighborhood.
The unit has been newly renovated and includes a brand new kitchen, central heat & air, and is immaculately clean. Two balconies give you some private outdoor space all your own and there is even a lemon tree shared by the other 2 units in the building.
1 bedroom features a large eastern king size beds, 1 bedroom features a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom features 2 double beds. Each bed has crisp white linens, accent colored warm blankets, extra pillows and a quilt for those cooler nights. There is plenty of closet space for travelers as well and flat screen televisions in each bedroom. Both blinds and curtains in the bedrooms allow travelers to choose the amount of light they want to wake up to. Each bedroom also has an overhead ceiling fan to help circulate air on our cool Los Angeles nights. An ipod, iphone dock and charger on the clock radio will charge your phone. Sounds of nature are also available on this clock to lull you to sleep. Each bedroom closet holds two warm terry bathrobes for your lounging comfort.
The kitchen has all full sized appliances including stainless steel refrigerator/ freezer with through the door filtered ice & water, range and over the range microwave and full 24' dishwasher and a double bowled farmhouse sink with garbage disposal. Quartz countertops add elegance to the kitchen design and are extremely durable. The kitchen is well appointed with service for 8, cookware, and more. You can easily cook a full gourmet meal in this kitchen or just as easily heat up your leftovers from the night before out on the town. Hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, newly wrapped sponge and a jumbo roll of paper towels are provided as well free of charge.
The master bathroom boasts a separate tub and shower sink and vanity with plenty of storage space and commode. The second, smaller bathroom has a shower, one sink and commode. Plenty of white fluffy towels are provided as well. A starter pack of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel is provided in each bathroom as well as 3 rolls of toilet tissue and one box of kleenex. Hair dryer is also provided.
A washer and dryer in the unit make it easy to bring less clothes and go home with them clean. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided.
A decorative fireplace in the living room and wedding cake crown mouldings, and original wainscotting and bookshelves in the dining room add character and history to this wonderful home.
Each of the 4 televisions feature basic cable and roku boxes with Crackle, Netflix and HBO so you can relax, watch tv or a film. High speed free internet service via wifi is available throughout the unit. A printer is available as well to print out your boarding passes or any other business needs you have.
Amenities for the little ones are available upon request. Including a pack n play, stroller, and high chair.

Three adults and two children stayed at this residents.
We found this rental to be clean, well maintained and situated within a great neighbourhood that we felt safe in.
We found dealing with Sharlotte was easy and the customer service she provided was great, thanks again for organising ESPN, so that we were able to watch the 2014 World Cup.
The house was within walking distance to The Grove, grocery stores (Trader Joes) and close to public transport.
While in LA, we did Hollywood Boulevard, Santa Monica, Rodeo Drive, Universal Studios, The Grove and Farmers Market just to name a few.
I would recommend staying in this spacious home
I am originally from the East Coast via Philadelphia & New York and settled in Los Angeles in 1999. I met my husband, originally from LA, in Los Angeles and we have a young son. We love this historic building and it's neighborhood and look forward to sharing it with you and your family.
We bought this property in 2001 after living in the neighborhood for years. We lovingly renovated and restored it to its 1936 grandeur and added all the conveniences of modern living.
The location of this property cannot be beat. We are truly in the heart of everything yet still in a quiet residential neighborhood. You can walk to a lot but come home to the peaceful tree-lined street where neighbors walk their kids and dogs and chat with each other as locals do.
