3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Home Walking Distance To The Grove!

We are a 100% non-smoking property inside and out (including balconies and yards). If anyone in your group smokes, we are not the right property for you.

We require a 5 night minimum for stays booked more than 30 days in advance with exceptions (see notes on rate page for exceptions).

Please note, rates are based on occupancy of 6. For occupancy over 6 (adults or children), there is a $25 per person, per night charge.

This newly renovated spacious 1600 square foot apartment is the upper unit of a small historic 1936 apartment building just a few blocks west of The Grove shopping center and the Original Farmer's Market.

The area is a designated historic district and our building maintains all the beauty and history of the neighborhood while boasting all the comforts of modern living.

Hardwood floors throughout the unit give warmth and the feeling of home to the unit. Double paned windows with low-e glass provide both conservation of energy and even more quiet inside from our quiet outside neighborhood.

The unit has been newly renovated and includes a brand new kitchen, central heat & air, and is immaculately clean. Two balconies give you some private outdoor space all your own and there is even a lemon tree shared by the other 2 units in the building.

1 bedroom features a large eastern king size beds, 1 bedroom features a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom features 2 double beds. Each bed has crisp white linens, accent colored warm blankets, extra pillows and a quilt for those cooler nights. There is plenty of closet space for travelers as well and flat screen televisions in each bedroom. Both blinds and curtains in the bedrooms allow travelers to choose the amount of light they want to wake up to. Each bedroom also has an overhead ceiling fan to help circulate air on our cool Los Angeles nights. An ipod, iphone dock and charger on the clock radio will charge your phone. Sounds of nature are also available on this clock to lull you to sleep. Each bedroom closet holds two warm terry bathrobes for your lounging comfort.

The kitchen has all full sized appliances including stainless steel refrigerator/ freezer with through the door filtered ice & water, range and over the range microwave and full 24' dishwasher and a double bowled farmhouse sink with garbage disposal. Quartz countertops add elegance to the kitchen design and are extremely durable. The kitchen is well appointed with service for 8, cookware, and more. You can easily cook a full gourmet meal in this kitchen or just as easily heat up your leftovers from the night before out on the town. Hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, newly wrapped sponge and a jumbo roll of paper towels are provided as well free of charge.

The master bathroom boasts a separate tub and shower sink and vanity with plenty of storage space and commode. The second, smaller bathroom has a shower, one sink and commode. Plenty of white fluffy towels are provided as well. A starter pack of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel is provided in each bathroom as well as 3 rolls of toilet tissue and one box of kleenex. Hair dryer is also provided.

A washer and dryer in the unit make it easy to bring less clothes and go home with them clean. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided.

A decorative fireplace in the living room and wedding cake crown mouldings, and original wainscotting and bookshelves in the dining room add character and history to this wonderful home.

Each of the 4 televisions feature basic cable and roku boxes with Crackle, Netflix and HBO so you can relax, watch tv or a film. High speed free internet service via wifi is available throughout the unit. A printer is available as well to print out your boarding passes or any other business needs you have.

Amenities for the little ones are available upon request. Including a pack n play, stroller, and high chair.

About Sharlotte Blake

I am originally from the East Coast via Philadelphia & New York and settled in Los Angeles in 1999. I met my husband, originally from LA, in Los Angeles and we have a young son. I have worked in Entertainment for much of my adult life in both Music and Film. I also love design and real estate and owning Vacation Rentals has been a wonderful experience for me.

We bought this property in 2001 after living in the neighborhood for years. We lovingly renovated and restored it to its 1936 grandeur and added all the conveniences of modern living.

What makes this apartment unique

The location of this property cannot be beat. We are truly in the heart of everything yet still in a quiet residential neighborhood. You can walk to a lot but come home to the peaceful tree-lined street where neighbors walk their kids and dogs and chat with each other as locals do.

We found this rental to be clean, well maintained and situated within a great neighbourhood that we felt safe in.

We found dealing with Sharlotte was easy and the customer service she provided was great, thanks again for organising ESPN, so that we were able to watch the 2014 World Cup.

The house was within walking distance to The Grove, grocery stores (Trader Joes) and close to public transport.

While in LA, we did Hollywood Boulevard, Santa Monica, Rodeo Drive, Universal Studios, The Grove and Farmers Market just to name a few.

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious!

We stayed in this property for my sister's wedding week and it was fantastic for 6 adults and a toddler. The apartment is beautifully appointed with everything you need for your stay. It was clean and just as is pictured. The rooms are large with high ceilings and there is plenty of space to spread out. The apartment is a short walk to Beverly which has shops and restaurants, and also very close to a Ralphs grocery store and The Grove. Fantastic location and Sharlotte was very hospitable and helpful! Highly recommended!

Would Highly Recommend...Beautiful Home!!!!

We stayed in the upper level rental and were really impressed. We are very picky we travel often and this place exceeded our expectations. Everything is updated, new and clean, kitchen had everything you needed, safe neighborhood and street and close to everything. It was much bigger then it looks in the pictures, nice bedding and pillows, tv's in all the bedrooms, better than any hotel!! We are from N.Y. first time In California and Im glad we picked this rental-

Fantastic place!

We had wonderful stay, spent 13 nights but would be happy to make it longer. Very clean, perfectly equipped, safe to walk and explore many attractive local places, convenient location to all LA areas. Owner very friendly and helpful. Small tip to those concerned about parking issue mentioned in previous reviews: no problem if you back up through driveway. Highly recommended!

You Will Love It!

We stayed here for 4 nights last week. We loved the place! I had searched a million listings on VRBO, and read every review to find this one. I picked this from the beautiful pictures, location, and the fact that it was reasonably priced compared to others. I am a picky traveler and had many questions for Sharlotte - all of them she answered promptly and well. I got clear and great instructions from her about the unit. Then we got there and completely wow'd the minute we opened the door. The place is modern and very clean. It is just as described on website. We had 3 adults and 3 kids and all were comfortable.

All the beds were comfortable. The NEST thermostat was super cool. The kitchen was clean and all we needed. Loved the laundry area - much appreciated when traveling with kids. Water pressure in bathrooms were good. The kids LOVED all the fluffy area rugs. I appreciated all the little details - bathrobes and laundry baskets. And I have to emphasize again, everything was so cleaned and seemed new. I also appreciated that the place was completely scent-less.

We walked to the Grove everyday, it took 15 min. There is a Whole Foods across from the Grove where we got groceries and made meals at home. There is also a closer Ralph's and Trader Joes the other direction from the house. We went to a lot of the touristy places - Walk of Stars, UCLA, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica ... and it took 30-40 min. Traffic in LA is always bad so you have take that into account.

We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to come back. I would definitely recommend this to everybody. It really is worth every penny. Such a great rental! Loved it!!

Location! Location! You can enjoy all that LA and Hollywood have to offer minutes away and come 'home' to a quiet residential neighborhood in the heart of it all!

We are centrally located between the San Fernando Valley and the Beach. Only 7 miles from the Film Studios in Burbank (Warner Brothers & Universal) and 10 miles to the beach and the airport in the other direction. We are right around the corner from Paramount Studios as well as CBS Studios.

Located just Southwest of Hollywood and a few blocks from West Hollywood,

A 5 minute drive to the East is the quaint Larchmont Village. A 'local' spot for a fabulous Sunday Farmer's market, many restaurants and great coffee shops & ice cream shops as well as some wonderful local specialty shops.

You are only 2 miles from the Heart of Hollywood. See the sights on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, stop by Grauman's Chinese Theater to see the hand prints of the Stars, The Wax Museum and Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum are always great fun as well.

For shopping and the occasional celebrity spotting take a 5 minute stroll West to The Grove at Farmers Market, only a few blocks away. Next to the Grove is Pan Pacific Park where you can run, relax, and picnic. There are several playgrounds for the kids, and many fields for soccer, baseball & more. The Original Farmer's Market, established in 1934 is nearby at 3rd & Fairfax. It has both fresh produce every day as well as great restaurants of all types, from Parisian crepes to Mexican tacos, to Indonesian fare, Brazilian dishes and more. The whole family can find something they like with the variety at this outdoor market.
