Russian Hill Townhome Rental Photos and Description
Townhome, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)
Our home is secluded and quiet, yet in the middle of the most fabulous neighborhood in San Francisco. Located on a hillside, 30 stairs up from the street (no elevator), you will find yourself in a private garden, peaceful and tranquil.
The first floor has a living room, dining room, and kitchen, with a bathroom/shower, washing maching and dryer. A grand piano inhabits the living room, and enjoys being played. The next level up has 3 bedrooms and a second bathroom off the hall. There is wireless internet which works throughout the house.
The top floor is a single room with windows on 3 sides; there is a 180 degree view looking west at the golden gate bridge and san francisco bay. This is the place to be, sitting quietly with friends, out on the deck, watching the sunset. This room also functions as the TV room, with surround sound, and DVD, VCR, etc.
I love this home, and I hope you will as well.

Our home is close to the top of Russian Hill. This is an historic (by California standards!) area whose homes date back to before the 1906 earthquake. The building burned down after that earthquake and fire, but was rebuilt, by the same architect, in 1909. It is thus Edwardian/Arts and Crafts in style, with dark wooden floors, beamed ceilings, and stained glass windows. We are just a few steps from the Hyde Street Cable Car, which travels between Fisherman's Wharf and Union Square, and a short walk to Polk Street and Union Street shopping districts, North Beach with so many restaurants and coffee shops, Chinatown, the Embarcadero, Union Square, and Nob Hill. It is a beautiful run to Fort Point and the Golden Gate Bridge (and you can take the cable car back up the hill on the way back!) . This is the premier neighborhood in San Francisco, friendly and beautiful.
And restaurants! If you like trying new places, then this is the place for you. Frascati is our neighborhood gem, La Folie has the Michelin star, Luella, Zarzuella, Za, and Sushi Grove round out the neighborhood eats. And then there's Polk Street and North Beach within a short walk too.
