maria amelia silva pinto purchased this villa in 2008
Why maria amelia silva pinto chose Maracajaú
Believe it or not..besides falling in love with the land, a coconut grove in front of a beach, .I was taking a vacation in Natal when 9/11 happened and I was still liviing in New York at that time, I thought the world would go crasy (I was right) and that this would be the perfect place to live
in peace with very little, if needed. Also, Brazil is blessed, no hurricanes, no earthquakes, no tornadoes. beautiful warm beaches, why not? So I bought this beautiful area of 97.000 sq meters, made the infrastructure for a luxury condo, divided the land into 16 plots of 5.000 sq meters each. Very private, very beautiful.
Plots were sold to 9 different nationalities, all from Europe and US, 8 houses are complete, balance will be finished by end 2012.
What makes this villa unique
lMaracajau is famous for its beautiful 13 square kilometres of coral reefs, called the “Maracajau Parrachos”, and although its marine life is less prolific than the nearby archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, its crystal clear warm waters provides a perfect natural aquarium for visitors and a beautiful sight for those who like to dive and observe marine fauna and flora.
The area receives special environmental protection from the Brazilian authorities, which means that not only the sea is preserved, but the many natural lakes and dunes are also protected, making this the perfect place for buggy rides, hikes, walks and enchanting sunsets.
