This modern one bedroom apartment makes the perfect base for exploring London, centrally located with great access to the Underground.
Make use of the kitchen which is fully equipped for cooking with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a dining table for 4 by the bay window and tv and internet for entertainment.
With plenty of lighting and large windows letting in lots of natural light (in spite of its lower ground position), the apartment feels spacious and warm.
If there are 4 of you planning your stay then take advantage of the easy to use double sofa bed.
Take a soak in the big bath (or use the shower extension for those who prefer a shower).
Possibly the best feature of the apartment is its the location. You are positioned right in the centre of London with great access to many Underground stations. Just a 5 minute walk will take you to either Waterloo, Borough or Southwark station for great connections across the Capital. From Waterloo you have access to 3 of London's quickest Underground lines as well as the national rail services meaning that if you fancy going further afield (to the English countryside perhaps) then you can easily do so.
Less than 10 minutes on foot, you'll reach the famous Southbank. Southbank is home to many of London’s best tourist attractions and arts venues. You'll find the London Eye, Royal Festival Hall, London Aquarium, Hayward Gallery, Royal Festival Hall, National Film Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe, Borough Market and, further along to the East is Tower Bridge. The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Cathedral are just on the other side of nearby Westminster Bridge.
All in all, this is a very reasonably priced choice offering the best of London within easy access!
London Bridge is not just an iron structure but a vibrant, historical centre lying at the heart of the city. It has a growing shopping district which includes Hay's Galleria, Butlers Wharf and St. Katharine Docks. Stretching from Tower Bridge to London Bridge on both sides of the Thames, the region boasts a large collection of museums, galleries, restaurants, theatres and architectural delights.
The London Bridge Experience and Tombs as well as the London Dungeons give a theatrical yet educational insight into London’s sordid past and how the city has evolved to what it is today. Tower Bridge Exhibition and the Tower of London, home to the crown jewels, provide a unique close up to royal life and the traditions of England over the years.
Well known for trading, the Pool of London incorporates both Bermondsey Antiques Market and the famous Borough Market, London's most renowned food market and a source of exceptional British and international produce. Take the whole family and wind your way around the stalls of fabulous food and drink… There are countless pubs and restaurants in the area too which create a buzzing atmosphere.
Steeped in history, London Bridge is a great location for families, groups or couples. Whether you’re looking for an action packed day out, a romantic stroll along the river or simply dinner and drinks in one of the many restaurants – London Bridge has more than enough to keep everyone occupied and entertained.
