This is a modern and stylish apartment in a premier part of London. Enjoy the local restaurants, cafes, boutiques and shops on your doorstep.
The main living space has double height ceilings and three sets of double windows, so the room is flooded with natural light. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony, looking down to the Square below. There's a large L shaped sofa, coffee table and a tv with a dvd player. For mealtimes, there's a glass dining table and accompanying white dining chairs in the open-plan living area. If you are travelling for work, you may make use of the desk.
The kitchen leads off this space and is well-equipped with modern appliances, including two microwaves, a modern hob and oven, and a coffee maker.
The master bedroom is very sleek, with a double bed, cream carpets, a huge wardrobe along one wall, matching dark wood bedside tables and stylish bedside lamps. The en suite bathroom has a modern white bath, a separate glass shower space with grey tiling, a loo and a sink.
Up on the mezzanine level is a study space with a modern glass desk, tv and an electric keyboard. The grey sofa can be folded out to a sofa bed for 2 more guests. With its own bathroom on this level, this is a comfortable apartment for 4 guests. There’s a wardrobe and a full length mirror too. The bathroom has a modern shower unit, a loo, a sink, glass shelving and a heated towel rail. Please note that, as this room is on the mezzanine, you are 'open' to any noise in the living/dining room below.
Old Brompton Road, a 5 minute walk away, has a good choice of eateries and you’re spoilt as only a 2 minute walk away is ‘Garnier’ – a fabulous French restaurant which recently received 5 stars from AA Gill! If you fancy seeing the well-known and upmarket area of Chelsea, the King’s Road is only a 7 or 8 minute taxi away, and is renowned for its trendy bars, restaurants, cafes and boutique shops.
This designer apartment is only a 5 minute walk from Earl’s Court tube station, which joins the Piccadilly and District lines. From here you’re only two stops from South Kensington for the Victoria & Albert, the Natural History and the Science Museums, or you can be at Oxford Circus for a fantastic selection of shops in 18 minutes. The number 74 bus goes from nearby Warwick Road to South Kensington for the famous Harrods department store and you can reach it and all of the other upmarket Knightsbridge shops, by either bus or tube, in under 10 minutes. Stay on the number 74 bus to carry on to Selfridges on Oxford Street. It is an 18 minute trip from Earl’s Court tube to the impressive Westfield Shopping Centre, or if you hop on the C1 bus, it will take you right there.
The focus of this exclusive area is Kensington High Street with its array of upmarket boutiques and luxury shops as well as high street shops, cafes and restaurants. The streets of elegant townhouses, often with white pillared fronts, are classically British and familiar to many as an emblem of prosperity. Behind these immaculate doors are spacious homes, with room for all the family.
Kensington borders Hyde Park - one of the largest parks in central London and a great day out – as well as Kensington Gardens and Kensington Palace where Princess Diana once lived. Holland Park, just West of Kensington High Street, is handy for a walk with the kids, or if you’re looking for an urban retreat to unwind, there are many high end spas and salons to visit.
The second hub of activity is in South Kensington, which has a tube station and a decent selection of pubs, wine bars and eateries. This area plays host to many museums and venues, notably the Royal Albert Hall, the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum. Many consider this the ideal destination for a family vacation to London because of the safe, quiet streets and numerous activities available close to the city centre.
