Centrally located between the lovely villages of Southampton, Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor, our home is a charming and relaxing retreat for families and adults alike. We have a master bedroom with king, another bedroom with a queen, a guest bedroom with trundle bed and an attached but private addition with queen bedroom, bathroom, living area and wetbar. The kitchen features new appliances, including a double oven, induction cooktop and ice machine. There is a full basement with a tv, which is a light and airy space, great for entertaining or for children to retreat. You can spend your days lounging by the pool. Barbecue and dine outdoors at our house or spend your days at one of the area's lovely beaches and visit the many gourmet restaurants in the area. We live in a very quiet residential area and it's only a short drive to the water. Our house is very clean and comfortable with central air for hot days and a fireplace for cool nights.
We are a very friendly family of four who love to spend time with one another whether we're home or traveling. We love the ocean, surfing, snowboarding, good food, wine, visiting museums, reading and traveling. We also love animals and would consider a well-behaved dog coming into our home by request.
Erin purchased this house in 2004
We got married in this area and our family has had a special relationship with the East End of Long Island for decades. The light and the land, the ocean and beaches here are spectacular and we wanted our children to grow up here and have a place to come back to when they're older.
Our home is charming and sits on a lovely acre that backs up to woods. It's very quiet and we get great light in our house. Our pool and outdoor area are very comfortable and terrific for children. We feel like we're far enough away from town but close enough to enjoy all the many hamlets and villages around us.
What an incredible stay! Erin is the perfect host and thought of everything for us. From the welcome bottle of rose to the pool toys for our 8 yr old, to the crystal clear instructions for the house and guide to local beaches and attractions, it was like a 5-star resort experience. The house is very well kept and beautifully decorated, but also comfortable and lived in. Easy to get to sag and Southampton, great location all around. Bonus for the kids: treehouse!! A dream vacation all around, thank you!
Located in the heart of the Hamptons, known for its stunning natural beauty, you can visit miles of pristine ocean and bay beaches (some of them rated the top beaches in the U.S.), enjoy world-class museums (including the new Herzog & de Meuron Parrish Art Museum), and multiple theatre venues. There is fine shopping, local farmers markets with gorgeous produce, cheeses, artisanal breads, top-notch restaurants and much more. A perfect retreat for visitors, families can do as much or as little as they like from horseback riding and charter fishing tours in Montauk to stand-up paddle boarding or kayaking.
