Best vacation in a long time!!

My parents, husband, 2 year old daughter and I had a fabulous vacation at Villa Ventanas. The owners and property manager were incredibly responsive and helpful from the minute I inquired about the property right through to the end of the trip. They all had incredibly helpful tips on car rental, grocery stores, restaurants and activities.
The house is amazing, and we are fairly particular. It has 2 balconies and 2 connected pools. One of them is a wading pool, which was perfect for our 2 year old daughter. She felt like she had a pool of her own. For adults, the wading pool is perfect to cool off. The views from every room of the house, from the balconies and from the pools are stunning. It was like we were at a 5 star resort all by ourselves.
We also loved the area. We have traveled to a few different parts of Costa Rica, and we really like it here. Playa Hermosa is much quieter and less built-up than Coco, but it is a quick drive (~10 minutes) to get to Coco for bigger grocery stores, more active beach, etc. We prefer the quiet beach and town, so this was exactly what we were looking for. It is ~0.5 miles walk from the house to the beach or town...however, the walk is very steep. One of us carried our daughter in a backpack while the other carried a backpack for food, etc. And that was excellent exercise.
We also went on a morning sailboat/snorkeling tour with Feret, Valerie and Captain John. We saw dolphins and a large turtle right next to the boat, it was awesome. Highly recommend this.
In summary, we highly recommend this property and area...but are so tempted to keep it all a secret :)
