"HIGHLY RECOMMEND! my girlfriends and I were from out of state and Chris was very knowldegable and helpful with our reservation and nearby attractions/events!"
This Was the best option for me and my family..perfect location, beautiful hotel and great price.
The photos and listing were accurate. The room was spacious and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The location, beside the John Hancock building, was perfect. Would highly recommend this to other visitors.
My husband and two children stayed in this very comfortable, spacious and clean room for a long weekend in Chicago. Location could not have been better. We loved walking to all the easy shopping along Michigan Avenue, were practically next door to the John Hancock building, within easy walking distance to Navy Pier and also had numerous great restaurants within walking distance. The $18 per day parking was an excellent value and the rental price for this unit was super reasonable. The hotel is lovely, valets and staff super welcoming and the donut shop open every morning on the first floor was a huge hit with my kids and an easy coffee stop on the way out in the morning. The owner was very responsive, quick to return calls and answer questions - we had no problems whatsoever and were impressed with how easy it was. This was our first experience with VRBO. The only tiny drawback to this place is that while in the room it was surprisingly easy to hear hallway noise. There was construction/painting going on while we were there and we could hear the workers more easily that I would have expected. That was only a very minor drawback and all in all the hotel was quite quiet, but it might be good to be aware of. The rooftop bar was closed when we were there, but we took a look and it looks like a great place to grab a drink and hang out in warmer weather. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place. We had a great Chicago weekend! Thanks!
A few mishaps regarding cleaning and valet but otherwise would stay here again.
The room was very spacious and comfortable and is located in a very nice hotel. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent very near to everythng downtown and easy access to public transportation. The winter special rate was very generous.
We could have used a little more information from the owner who responded quickly to confirm the rental, but didn't answer a few other questions we asked. More significantly, he didn't tell us that the parking rate for renters through owners was $18 dollars a day rather than $54. We only found that out when we were leaving having parked our car near our daughter's apartment some distance away.
The hotel personnel were terrific and very hospitable. There were no issues with this. The room was quiet, well appointed and comfortable. I had only two minor issues. The elevators were extremely slow in coming when called, with a wait for them too long to be reasonable. The room itself had limited lighting and was rather dark. It needs a stronger bulb in the light over the bed and a free standing light pole near the table. However the experience was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending this stay and will in fact seek it out myself for my next trip to Chicago.
