A nice vacation house in the mountains

  • 5 of 5
We have just spent 3 days in the house. Really enjoy it! A few highlights:
1) Breathtaking view of mountains and lake. Foggy morning, beautiful sunset, just fantastic!
2) In very good condition, clean, neat, well decorated, a lot of nice details, comfortbly fit for 2 families 8 people.
3) A lot of outdoor activities close by, 3 miles to Fontona lake dock, boating and fishing, 20 minutes to creek tubing, 40 minutes to Fontona dam.
4) Convenient for shopping, 15 minutes to a big grocery chain - Ingles, 20 minutes to Bryson city.
5) Quiet and private place. There only 4-5 houses in this mountain, and far away to each other.
one suggestion to the owner:
It will be great if you can build a few steps to the extra parking space.
Bottom line, really fun experience! We will come again!

Beautiful cabin

  • 5 of 5
I arrived with my family and my brother's family at this beautiful, well maintained, organized, and clean cabin on Dec. 22,2013 to spend Christmas. There was plenty of space for the 8 of us. The children played for hours, they were entertained with all the games and the keyboard. We the adults entertained ourselves cooking, talking by the fireplace, reading on the porch, and checking out the views of the mountains. We went to town for groceries and to ride on the Polar Express. I recommend this cabin to families with children or for couples looking for a good place to relax. I would like to say thank you to Annie for all the help and attention she gave to us. She was always available to answer our questions and always very kind.

Perfect Title: Hidden Treasure is hidden at the end of the ridgetop. Autumn foliage was beautiful.

  • 5 of 5
We are excited to share how wonderful this cabin and location worked out for our fall break motorcycle touring vacation. Location on the southside of the park is less crowded and near motorcycle routes. Owners were easy to work with at every phase of our booking. They are flexible, helpful and genuine. Communication was super personal. We forgot the details to the location of the cabin and they stayed on the phone with us until we drove to the front of the cabin. We arrived to a specatular sunset view from the enclosed or open balcony. Owners provided firewood bundle for our first fire-perfect welcoming gift. The listing description and photos were accurate and amenities were as listed. The only disappointment was that the jet tub can not be used due to the upstairs water heater is too small to fill it with warm water. Our security deposit was returned within a week with a personal thank you card. Quality operations with a personal touch. I long to hear the Bryson Train in the valley, see the smoke over the mountains and hear the creek below with a morning cup of coffee, which I left for the next visitors to "Hidden Treasure".Enjoy:)!
