This quiet, sunny annexe is located in the beautiful garden of the villa. The owner only occasionally lives in the main part of the villa. The garden offers a fantastic view over the range of hills called Santueris and San Salvador with magnificent views of the sunset. The property is located in a luxurious area, close to a small relatively unknown beach near S`Arenal with a bar and is mainly visited by the local population. As already mentioned the location is in a quiet non-commercialised area where you and your family can unwind and relax. The nearest town Porto Colom can easily be reached by having a pleasant walk along the cliffs passing the lighthouse. This little town is lovingly called the Saint Tropez of Mallorca with its idyllic harbour where fishing boats are moored between modern yachts and sailing boats.

Porto Colom is valued by sailors because of its natural anchor facilities. Most of the original buildings facing the sea side have been protected which gives a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The town-centre built in the last century contains many second homes for the business people of Felanitx. The other part of the town offers in the summer a wide range of activities. Here you will find a large beach and two little bays. Diving and surfing schools are located in Porto Colom as well. Not forgetting the boat industry which is mainly run by small family businesses where they are built in a traditional way.

The interior is in the Ibiza-style with central heating and is suitable for all year round holidays. The accommodation is to a very high standard and includes a fully equipped kitchen. Beaches in the surrounding area: Cala Marsal is the biggest beach, which is easily reached by car. It is ideal for children with its restaurant, beach bar, sun-beds, parasols, showers and boat hire. The beach is surrounded by a few small hotels. Parking facilities are right next to the beach. Cala Brafi is a small beach which can only be reached by a small cliff path. Cala Murada is mainly visited by locals who go there for a swim together with German, Belgium and French tourists who spend their vacation in the one hotel, which is adjacent to the beach. Parking facilities next to the beach. Es Domingos is a very beautiful beach with deep water. Cala Senau is a small beach which is surrounded by a pine forest. Cala Serena, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Gran, Cala Egos, Cala Barca, Cala Mondrago.

Information for golf players: The exclusive Marriot hotel “Son Antem” is 20 km away and is famous for its golf courses and golfing facilities including a recently renovated club house. Golf lessons are available for all from beginners to advanced level in English, Spanish and German. This hotel has amazing views of Cala D`Or and the harbour of Porto Colom which you can reach within a few minutes by car. Even if you are not a golfer a visit is well worth it.

Schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick und guter Ausstattung. Ruhige Lage im gehobenen Wohnviertel. Toller kleiner Strand in der Nähe mit vielen Einheimischen bzw. Zweitwohnsitzlern. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Vermieterin (span./engl.) wie auch sehr nette, zuvorkommende Vermittlerin (deut.). Kleiner Nachteil: die zweite Schlafgelegenheit ist nur durch einen sehr dünnen Vorhang zur Küche abgetrennt, d.h. jemanden dort schlafen zu lassen und parallel dazu noch TV im Wohnzimmer (das einen Raum mit der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche bildet), das klappt nicht. Lösung: wer als letzter ins Bett, schläft eben dort :-). Wenn wir wieder mal nach Portocolom kommen, werden wir gerne dort wieder übernachten. Apropos Portocolom: ein sehr schöner Ort mit vielen guten Restaurants am wundervollen Hafen.
