Studio,1 Bath, (Sleeps 1-2)

Brand new and stand alone apartment with a large kitchen, fireplace, high ceilings 500 sq feet. The cottage is located in Cascade Canyon. Every window looks out to the mystical redwoods.

The cottage is steps away from the creek and minutes to several great hiking trails. A short walk to the waterfall and three wells, a swimming area for kids. Minutes to the most beautiful library on the West Coast and a fabulous downtown with great stores and restaurants.

Keywords: Free standing, built in 2011 , murphy bed large kitchen with a fireplace. Nestled in the redwoods. 10 minute walk to downtown, along the creek, next to many bike and hiking trails.

Happy family of four. We love Mill Valley for all the wonderful things it offers.

Why The Owner chose Mill Valley

We have a stand alone apartment. The property is private, clean and everything is new. If you love to cook, we have a very functional kitchen. Location provides the serenity of the redwoods but is a short walk to our fabulous town.

What makes this studio unique

I love the hiking and biking trails. We bike to Sausalito, take the ferry to San Francisco for the best meals in California. The wine country is an hour away, Stinson beach, we hike to Muir beach in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Tuesday night you don't want to miss Mark Pitta at the Throckmorton Theater for a great night of comedy.

Comfortable studio in the Redwoods

We spent a very relaxing week here among the redwoods easy walking distance to downtown Mill Valley. The bed was extremely comfortable, good sheets and pillows. The kitchen so well equipped that you have the choice of three coffee makers plus a coffee grinder!

Everything is new and high quality, including the towels.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Romantic Getaway

This apartment has it all: great location in the redwoods, contemporary decor, comfortable furnishings, beautiful bathroom and kitchen, more than just basic supplies, and an owner who is very easy to work with. Amazing Cottage in a Beautiful Town

My husband, young daughter, and I stayed at Cascade Cottage on our recent vacation. We arrived at the cottage late and after a long day of driving and seeing Yosemite. We were very happy with what we found - a beautiful, welcoming cottage that was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. There was no need to touch the thermostat - just opened the windows and let nature take care of the rest. The heated floor in the bathroom was great. The owner was easy to work with and very friendly. She made us feel at home. Mill Valley is a beautiful town and close to all the SF area attractions. We spent one day seeing nature and one day seeing the city - the ferry ride from Sausalito to SF was perfect (and recommended by the owner). We are looking forward to returning to Mill Valley in the future and would most definitely stay in the Cascade Cottage again.

Best of Both Worlds!

My husband and I stayed the month of May in this wonderful accommodation. The previous reviews all are accurate regarding the many amenities offered here. We especially appreciated the location in the Redwoods with so many outstanding walking opportunitites nearby, as well as being only 20 minutes form the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. As another review stated, we also "hated to leave and hope to return".

Comfy cottage for a long weekend stay

My wife, grandchild and I really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable apartment. Must have been built recently as everything is up to date and in good working order. Beautiful scenic location on the outskirts of Mill Valley. The reviews above are all accurate as to the various details also.
