Palm Springs Villa Rental Photos and Description
5 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, 10 Sleeps
Camp 1959 is a gorgeous example of Palm Springs’ ultra-modern Meiselman homes, that were once weekend escapes for Hollywood’s elite. The villa is defined by sleek, crisp lines and soaring windows, but its terrace playground is what really creates unforgettable impressions. Easy days by the pool quickly transition into nights as you unwind in this trendy, faux-camping oasis, with the rugged San Jacinto mountains rising above the horizon.
Hand-picked modern furnishings combine with playful camping elements on the expansive pool terrace. Coleman lanterns rest on repurposed metal containers between each sun-soaked chaise longue. Colorful jets of water launch themselves over the pool, controlled by the home’s integrated iPad system. Sooth your muscles with a soak in the pool or the hot tub. A built-in barbecue lets you create al fresco feasts to enjoy under the stars. Serve evening cocktails in the outdoor lounge area, while flames flicker from the in-ground fire pit.
Tall French doors lead into the villa where the modernist tradition is alive and more elegant than ever. Light pours in through sliding doors and clerestory windows, illuminating clean, white walls and original modern furnishings. Sofas and dual armchairs make the living room a comfortable spot to enjoy a movie by the fireplace. The home features many technological touches as well as some throwbacks, like a turntable and vinyl collection. You’ll love creating inspired meals in the galley kitchen, where stainless steel appliances make cooking a pleasure. Savor every bite around a unique dining table or at the casual breakfast bar.
Three of Camp 1959’s bedrooms are located in the main house, while two more reside in separate casitas by the pool. The spacious Master suite features a California King Size bed, flatscreen TV, and a luxurious en-suite. Doors lead you out to a semi-private terrace and gas fireplace. The first and second guests suite are King suites with a large shared bathroom. The casita suites also have access to this shared bathroom, plus the pool terrace’s powder room.
Camp 1959 is located in the friendly and charming Racquet Club Estates neighborhood. From its central location, you’ll have easy access to the best of Palm Springs. It’s a short drive downtown, where you’ll find a range of upscale shopping, dining and café options along Palm Canyon Drive. The Coachella Valley is home to some of the world’s finest, and most picturesque spas, and golfers will find more golf courses than they could ever need.
