Beautiful new two bedroom, two bathroom home offers ocean views and sits only 200 feet from the beach! This tranquil Cape Meares setting offers an expansive deck in the backyard to enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean and cook the perfect BBQ meal!

The interior of the home is beautifully finished in knotty pine. The first level of the home features a cozy kitchen and dining area and a living room with a wood stove. There is full bathroom and a bedroom with two twin beds, a TV and a DVD player on the first floor as well. The stairs lead you to a master bedroom loft area that features a balcony with an ocean view! There is a full bathroom with his and her sinks to make your stay as convenient as possible. There is also a twin trundle bed upstairs that can be used as an extra bed or just as a nice spot to lounge and watch a movie. This home has a TV and DVD player upstairs but it does not have cable so please bring a couple of your favorite films to enjoy on your trip!

The large backyard features several decks which allow for the perfect blend of sun and shade. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash when outside in consideration of our neighbors and all pet waste must be disposed of or you will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

Comfy retreat!

Our first visit to Cape Meares, and it won't be our last! We loved the area and the cozy cabin. It was a perfect retreat spot for some R&R. Even though we're still experiencing winter in ID, it was lovely to see daffodils near the cabin:) The next time we reserve this property, it'll definitely be longer than two days!

Cozy Quiet Getaway

We loved this little house. It was perfect for what we wanted - a cozy, quiet, private getaway. No TV or internet was a blessing. The wood stove kept the house very comfortable and pleasant. My only suggestions are that the downstairs couch is fairly uncomfortable and you might consider replacing it. Also the view from the kitchen table is wonderful, except that a wide portion of the window structure blocks the view when sitting at the table. I would recommend a different style window be installed that allows one to see the ocean view. Otherwise, we loved it and want to return at the next opportunity!

Cape Meares is a very well kept secret. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves the whole weekend. The cabin is very clean & perfectly set up for relaxing. It was great to be able to bring our dogs, they had so much fun & the cabin showed no signs that dogs had ever been in there...very clean.

Perfect getaway retreat

This was our 3rd stay at this home, but our first 9 night 9 day stay (previous 3 day weekend trips). We LOVE this home, this town, and the amazing natural wildlife the beach/bay/coast provides at all times of the year. We've visited in May & December 2011, and now June 2012! We would love to make this a yearly vacation specifically at this house. It's is just two houses away from the beach, has the best sunsets, always well stocked with essentials and better off for not having internet or cable TV. We really do appreciate the owners making it affordable to stay. We'll keep coming back for sure!

Dream home by the sea!

What a wonderful place. The property manager was very accommodating with our last minute need to reschedule and we greatly appreciated that. The location was spectacular, only a few steps away from the beach, and the view from the house is also stunning. We'll hopefully be back!
