Sa Plana is located 8 km (6,5 km of which is tarmaced) from Felanitx and is surrounded by fields. There is a view to the monastery mountain San Salvador and the valley of Algaida and on the other side Sa Plana is located next to a pine forest. The fields around the estate are approx. 10.000 square meters, the estate has several hectares. This estate has been a private Agroturismo which means it has got a few buildings beside the manor house including garage, bodega, gardens, terraces and much more. It is a haven for families with children or for a group of friends who are looking for an authentic place away from mass tourism where they can relax and unwind. The new pool is in the centre of a beautiful garden and is surrounded by a big terrace. Nearby is a place where you can find shade under the threes, a barbecue and an external shower. The house which is suitable for celebrations, has a vaulted ceiling is approached opposite the bodega.

You can reach the nature beach Playa Es Trenc in 20 minutes.

  • The prices per day are for six persons. Each person in addition has to pay 10,00 € more per night. The costs for the final cleaning are 60,00 €, if one to six people stayed in the house. For each other person 10,00 € have to be paid per head. The house will be cleaned weekly including the weekly change of towels and sheets. The pool and the garden will be cleaned when needed.

Notes: The main house is approached through a large traditional wooden door leading into a dining hall which has beautiful arch ways accessing the rest of the accommodation. The large family kitchen has a pantry and also a door to the garage. In addition on this floor there are 2 bedrooms and fully fitted bathroom with corner bath, shower and bidet. A stone staircase leads up to the first floor where there are two more bedrooms and bathroom with shower. This floor has the advantage of two more living rooms with roof terrace and additional sleeping accommodation in the form of a sofa bed. The furniture and the decoration are in Mallorquin style. The bathrooms are newly installed. The Spanish owner of the house is responsible for the cleaning, the garden and the pool. In the adjoining house are two members of the family who have access over the paths.

Porto Colom : Porto Colom is valued by sailors because of its natural anchor facilities. Most of the original buildings facing the sea side have been protected which gives a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The town-centre built in the last century contains many second homes for business people of Felanitx. The other part of the town offers in the summer a wide range of activities. Here you will find a large beach and two little bays. Diving and surfing schools are located in Porto Colom as well. Not forgetting the boat industry which is mainly run by small family businesses where they are built in a traditional way.

Cala D`Or : The centre of Cala D`Or (the white town at the sea) offers you a complete variety of activities on the east coast. Restaurants, shops, bars and boutiques are just some of many possibilities available. It has probably got the best harbour for sporting yachts and every year the elite of Europe’s luxurious yachts can be seen.

Manacor: Manacor is the second most important city in Mallorca. It is famous for its furniture industry and pearl production. It was founded in the year 1300 by Jaume the second and is located at the foot of the Sierra de Levant. The most important buildings are “Torre de Ses Puntes” which was built in the 14th century, the San Vinçenc Ferrer convent and the baroque convent Santa Domingo. Because of the lime content of the soil a few caves can be found near Manacor. In the city of Manacor you will find supermarkets, a clinic, restaurants, cafes and a good shopping centre with many interesting shops to browse in.

Entspannungsurlaub auf einer Traumfinca

Wir, 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder (9, 9, 12) kamen am 06.09.08 auf der Finca an, wurden herzlich begrüßt und haben uns sofort in das historische Haus verliebt. Alle fanden ein Schlafzimmer in dem es sich träumen ließ, aber zum Schlafen war erstmal keine Zeit! Alt und Jung mussten so viel erkunden - das Haus, die Bodega, den Garten, den Pool und das riesige Areal. Es gab Hühner, kleine Küken mussten aus gefährlichen Situationen berfreit werden und Obst und Gemüse wuchs überall (und wir durften es sogar essen). Die Küche ließ, wie der Rest des Hauses, keine Wünsche übrig und es gab nichts, was es nicht gab! Wir waren eine Woche lang absolut der Magie dieser historischen Finca verfallen, zehren heute noch von den Erinnerungen und kehren sicher wieder einmal zurück! Urlaub für ALLE! Vielen lieben Dank für die absolut unaufdringliche und herzliche Gastfreundschaft die wir genießen dürften!!!

Bisher schönster Urlaub auf Mallorca !

Wenn man Ruhe, Entspannung, Natur und Ländliches Flair abseits des Massentourismus sucht, dann ist man hier genau richtig.
Wir waren 2006 zum 4ten mal auf Mallorca, aber nirgends war es so schön wie hier.
Aber vorweg, ohne Auto ist hier nichts zu machen. Wir waren 2 Familien mit 4 Kindern ( 3,4, 10,10 ) und die Kinder fanden es genau so herrlich hier wie die Erwachsenen. Der Pool ist einsame Spitze und in Kombination mit dem Poolhaus, kann man hier draußen wunderbar unter dem rankenden Wein frühstücken, Mittag essen oder einfach nur relaxen. Und wer sich abends / nachts mit einem Gläschen Wein oder einem kühlen Bier an den beleuchteten Pool setzt, kommt schon mal in den Genuß die jagenden Fledermäuse über dem Pool zu beobachten oder sogar eine Eule aus dem Steineichenwald zu entdecken. Der ganze Garten um das Haus herum ist einfach nur herrlich, hier kann man die Welt vergessen. Ich würde gerne nochmal wiederkommen, aber für eine Familie ist es definitiv zu groß.

Sollte es mal regnen oder man sucht Schatten, kann man wunderbar in der Bodega speisen.

Die Bäder sind auch sehr geschmackvoll renovíert.

Verbesserungwürdig wäre eine Klimaanlage im oberen Bereich und bei Gelegenheit mal neue Matratzen.

Richtig tricky ist die Garage, man fährt rein, Tür zu und kann das Auto schön im Schatten entladen und die Einkäufe durch die angrenzende Küche in den Vorratsraum bringen.

Sehr schöner Familieurlaub im Herzen Mallorcas

Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!
Haus für bis zu 2 Familien oder kleinere Gruppe gut geeignet, sehr zentrale Lage, sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. 450 Jahre altes Bauernhaus mit moderner Ausstattung wo es benötigt wird (z. B. Küche mit Geschirrspüler, gr. Bad) und viel Charme. Die ausschließlich spanisch sprechenden Vermieter sind täglich vor Ort aber in keiner Weise aufdringlich, jedoch gelingt in jedem Fall eine sehr nette Verständigung auch mit "Händen und Füßen". Vermieter sind herzlich und besonders im Umgang mit Kindern sehr liebevoll. Sehr schöner und gepflegter Pool mit 2 Tiefen (ideal auch für Schwimmanfänger) läßt Entfernung zum Strand vergessen. Sehr ruhige Lage morgens wird man vom Hahn geweckt und abends schläft man mit dem Glockenbimmeln der Schafe ein. Kleine Einschränkungen: die franz. Betten befinden sich ausschließlich im Untergeschoss und sind schmal. Manche der Schränke sind alte Bauernschränke und riechen teilweise etwas modrig. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß trotzdem kann man die Kinder (3 und 6 Jahre) mit ein paar Hinweisen alleine ohne Probleme die Gegend erkunden lassen. Die Katzen vor Ort wurden sofort von den Kindern gefüttert und betüdelt. Jeden Tag durften die Kinder mit dem Vermieter Eier suchen, Kartoffeln und Obst ernten. Wunderschöne Blumen wie z. B. die riesige Bourgainville und die großen Wandelrösschen am Pool geben grünes Ambiente. Die Doppelhaus Nachbarn sind nur in den späten Abendstunden zuhause und dabei kaum bemerkbar.
Fazit: Ein rundum toller, entspannter Familienurlaub fern von Massentourismus und dem normalen Hotelbetrieb aber dafür unglaublich glückliche Kinder und damit auch entspannte Eltern. Sehr empfehlenswert!
