Your ocean retreat awaits! This charming cottage was completely renovated in 2009 and has been updated with all new stainless steel appliances, granite counter-tops, new furnishings, and all the necessities for a relaxing and fun seacoast vacation. It is located just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean and Wallis Sands State Park in Rye, NH. The hip and historic town of Portsmouth is less than 5 miles away and boasts some of New England’s best restaurants, historic sites, and coastal excursions. Only 8 miles up the coast is the outlet haven of Kittery, Maine.

About the property: This cottage is unit #7 in an 11-unit condominium complex. Situated in the middle, toward the back, it is a nice distance from any of the surrounding cottages. There are lovely landscaped grounds to run around and enjoy, as well as ample Adirondack chairs for enjoying a drink in the sunshine or the shade. Only a few of these units are rented seasonally, the rest are occupied by the owners who take care of them with great pride.

Local Attractions: Wallis Sands Beach is the northernmost beach on the New Hampshire coast line, however just 1.5 miles north is Odiorne Point and the Seacoast Science Center. This state park facility offers a large playground, hiking trails, tide pools, and a learning facility with exhibits that appeal to all ages.

A short 5-mile drive will take you into downtown Portsmouth, NH where you can enjoy theater events, fabulous bars and restaurants, historic sites and tours, and plenty of local and tax-free shopping!

Just over the Piscataqua River bridge from Portsmouth is Kittery, ME where outlets abound!

Going south along route 1A, you can take any number of whale watch tours or trips out to the Isle of Shoals. And don't forget to go down to the Beach Plum for the best lobster roll you've ever eaten!
