This property has been in my family for over a generation and has been lovingly updated over time to reflect current trends. If you want the feeling of a home away from home then this is the perfect spot for your getaway.
The property is very private with gated exterior common areas. The entire property is a wonderful and safe compound. Tranquility is often achieved here.
We stayed at the two bedroom and one bedroom property for 3 nights. The place is super! Perfect location, close to everything you want to visit in LA: Venice Canals, Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, Griffith Observatory, Downtown, Santa Monica Pier, Malibu and all the tourist attractions.
The neighbourhood is quiet and nice. Property is very well maintained. The apartments are clean, cosy and have all the amenities you need for short or long term rental. The back yard is amazing!
Jim is a very kind, discreet, helpful and generous person. We felt like we were the only people in the house. Thanks to Jim we had a wonderful vacation in LA while feeling at home.
We will be more than happy to come back and rent the property again! We recommend the place and the host!
My two teenagers and I stayed at the two bedroom property for almost one month June-July 2014 and it was wonderful!!! The apartment is very beautiful, well designed, spacious and gorgeously decorated. The kitchen is perfect, very well equipped with all kinds of the kitchenware and everything one could wish to have, for instance toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, mixer... It is fantastic to have a washer and dryer, too! We can´t forget to mention the purified drinking water system.
The living room is great with a screen TV with unlimited channels and comfortable furnitures. We loved to sit and spend some great time together there. The rooms are spacious with very big and comfortable beds and we slept so well!! The bathroom is beautiful with a steam shower which is really great!!! There are plenty of clean and cozy towels and bedding provided and free wireless internet access at the property, too.
This beautiful and well managed property with a great backyard to enjoy the sun, grill and relaxation is in a very quiet, nice and safe area and there are always a lot of parking places in front of the house!! The location is perfect and every place is a short drive away, for instance LAX, and all tourist attractions as Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Melrose Ave., Sunset Blvd, Staples Center, Culver City, Venice Beach, Disneyland, Warner Bros, Universal Studios, etc. The freeway is almost next to the property!
As we are from Sweden it was a little bit difficult for us in the beginning to not get lost on all the one-way roads. Our host, Jim was very kind and borrowed us his phone!! We could call, send text messages and of course find the way using GPS!! Fantastic!!! Jim was very kind, welcoming, and helpful and all the time ready to answer any questions.
We can't find any words to describe how wonderful person Jim is and how grateful we are for everything. Jim is attending, generous, hospitable, providing all the information and support 24/7!! His sense of humor is great and he is like a wonderful friend / family member to us! We didn't feel like guests during our stay at 2026 West View Street, not at all, we felt like we were at home!!! Thanks to Jim we feel that we have our home in LA and we will return for sure!!! We're looking forward to see Jim again!!

I stayed in this apartment for several weeks while I was recovering from surgery The doctor wanted me to stay in the LA area for several weeks after my surgery since it was big surgery that they don't do in the central valley where we live. The owner is amazing and made us feel like family. The location is great so my husband and I could plan day trips without much travel time. The apartment is tastefully furnished. The grounds are peaceful and secluded which provided a pleasant place to rest and recover. We are planning a return trip now that I have fully recovered
We very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to rent here again. It was well appointed and well located for our purposes which required easy access to a neighborhood near USC.
I'm so sorry it's taken me this long to review such an amazing property. My friend and I stayed here (at the 2-bedroom unit) while we were down visiting a friend and both of us agreed that we would definitely be returning, should we ever come back down! Even if we were to go to Disneyland or something... what a great find! The beds were cozy, the shower was AMAZING (steam shower, say WHAAAAT.) The kitchen, with granite counter tops and plenty of bar-stools, was great for entertaining and there is back yard access with patio chairs & I think a firepit?! (We didn't use it.) There's laundry machines, for those that need to stay longer. The entrance to both units is so cute, you walk in and think you've escaped to this sanctuary, which was extremely CLEAN and quiet! We were super close to Hollywood (minutes of a drive), No-ho was just up the street and where our friend lived in Silverlake/Echo Park, it only took us 15 minutes to drive (yes, even with the traffic!). We visited the Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, Downtown L.A., and a few night clubs in NoHo. My friend & I really felt that this location was central to everywhere we went! I really would love to bring my family back down when we return to SoCal for Disneyland,as the price fits any budget, and for the comfort, it really can't be beat! Trader Joe's & Ralph's are just 5 minutes up the street (which we hit right away) & Starbucks is nearly 5 minutes away in any direction (LOL). Really, perfect. Thank you so much, Jim, for taking such great care of your rental!

If you are forced to cancel 45 days or more from your scheduled arrival you will be given a full refund. If you cancel 30-45 days you will be refunded half of the required deposit. If you cancel 30 days or less from the scheduled arrival date you will lose your entire deposit.
Pet Policy: If you have pets, do not fret, as we can discuss you bringing them on a case by case basis and there is a fee.
