What a beautiful place to spend seven wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing, days! The views were incaparable, the house was so comfortable, and the sunsets, sunrises, and stars of night were all breathtaking! If I ever imagined what heaven could be like, I now have a distinct, and visual, idea! I loved gettiing up in the early morning, watching the colors of the sunrise flood the skies, and feeling the clean and fragranced breeze. As the day brightened, waiting for the toucans to come for their breakfast in the palm trees behind the house was pure relaxation! Sunsets are equally beautiful, whether they are viewed from the Playa Domenical, or from the comfort of the house! Our family of six adults enjoyed going to Playa Uvita and Marino Balleno Park; to Hacienda Baru where some of us enjoyed zip-lining; to Manuel Antonio Natural Park to view sloths, local birds and monkeys, Costa Rican frogs, and huge blue morpho butterflies; and to Isla de Cano where we scuba dived, hiked, and even got some deep sea fishing in! We loved eating at the local restaurants, and every meal was good! Just remember, when you are in Costa Rica, time is suspended, and eating a lunch or dinner can take several hours! "Pura Vita" suggests that to savor every day, you must take your time! Most of all, we enjoyed interacting with the people of Costa Rica who are generous, helpful, lovely, and always friendly! Neil was invaluable in making recommendations from eateries to the different types of tours available in the area. Coming to Costa Rica, and to Casa las Terraza, will always be a memory that we will cherish, and will remain with us for a long, long time! Thank you, Jerry and Theresa, for allowing us to share your wonderful home!
