This is The Dragonfly, our Westminster townhouse. Enjoy all that Denver and the Front Range of the Rockies have to offer from this great home base in a quiet residential neighborhood.

This beautifully furnished home features three bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, comfortable couches and cozy gas fireplace in the living room, and a kitchen that has everything you need to create a delicious meal. This is NOT a party house, but rather a peaceful home-away-from-home -- perfect for a family vacation, a girlfriend getaway, or a couples' retreat.

Start your day with coffee and a mountain view. Spend the day exploring Denver -- Downtown is just 20 minutes away, the Denver Zoo and Science Museum about 25 minutes. Take in a play or concert at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Explore the Sixteenth Street Mall, the Capitol, the Mint, or the world of cuisines from the lunch trucks in the Civic Center. Or, head for the hills -- we've got a picnic cooler and camp chairs. Picnic, hike, climb, ski, bicycle....all within a short drive. At the end of the day, sit on the patio and enjoy the majesty of a Colorado mountain sunset.

Dragonfly is 12 minutes from Westminster Promenade, which has selection of restaurants, a huge movie multiplex, and ice arena. Across from the Promenade is the Butterfly Pavilion, a wonderful place to explore nature. Flatiron Crossing is one of the most popular shopping and dining complexes in the Denver area, and is just 15 minutes down the highway.

And, of course, you could always stay in and enjoy the townhouse!

Dragonfly has beds for SIX:

Bedroom/bath #1 is an upstairs master suite. There is a beautiful mountain view from the window, a king sized bed, separate shower and soaking tub in the bathroom, and walk-in closet.

Bedroom/bath #2 is a main floor master suite. Two twin beds can also be made up as a king-sized bed. Bathroom has separate shower and soaking tub, and walk-in closet.

Bedroom #3 is furnished with twin beds and is right down the hall from bathroom #3, which has a tub/shower combination.

Two twin air beds and a futon in the unfinished basement provide sleeping locations for additional people. However, in the interests of safety and comfort, we will not accept any parties larger than 8, including children.

There are digital cable television, blu-ray players that allow you to access Netflix or Hulu+ accounts, and wifi. The unfinished basement has a futon, ping-pong and foosball tables. The subdivision has a playground, outdoor pool, and walking trails around three tiny 'lakes'. Access to walking & bike trails and open space area is just a short walk away.

In addition to the beautiful setting and furnishings, The Dragonfly is a gallery for the work of award-winning Colorado artist, Cheryl Berglund. Enjoy the gorgeous artwork in all of the rooms -- or purchase a painting to take home as a reminder of your wonderful stay at The Dragonfly.

Great house for staying with colleagues!

This house was absolutely perfect as a home base for a work trip with four other colleagues. The house features a king bed and two bedrooms with two twins each, and three bathrooms -- everyone had their own space and there were plenty of bathrooms for the morning rush. The location near I-25 was perfect for getting to downtown Denver quickly and easily. The house is very well-appointed, with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you so much!

Dragonfly is a lovely house that is equipped with everything you could need. It is maintained to a very high level. The surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful and the neighbours are friendly. The nearby duck ponds and playground make Dragonfly ideal for families with kids. The owners are a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and helpful.

Simply perfect

The house exceeded our expectations. The place was clean, spacious and in a lovely neighborhood. Every room had everything we needed, this really was a home away from home. After a long day exploring Colorado, the living room and basement were a great place to relax and hang out, we even had Netflix! In the mornings we walked around the lake in front of the house complete with an amazing view of the mountains. Tracey and David were exceptional hosts, answering any questions and doubts I had before our arrival. We couldn't have found a better place to stay.

Great vacation rental!

We rented the Dragonfly during or Spring Break vacation. It was a great rental and worked out for our family. Having the ping pong table and fooseball was fun for the kids. The home is in great conditwion and had everything we needed! The only thing we had to buy was a few groceries. Everyone had seperate bedrooms and bathrooms, that was nice. It was close to everything we wanted to do. If we come to Denver again we would definitely try to rent here again.

Exceptional stay for our Family at Thanksgiving

Dragonfly is a premier accommodation when traveling to Denver. Located on a main artery we were able to access Denver, Golden and Boulder within a reasonable time. Denver Airport was less than 30 minutes even during Thanksgiving week.

The real attraction is the condo itself. Spacious with all the amenities - we cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and lacked for nothing in the kitchen. A true quality experience. To top off the amenities, the Stratford Lakes area boasts miles of hiking and biking trails along and in an expansive greenway in Westminster, CO. We all enjoyed the prairie dogs! There is an exceptional sunrise view that lights up the front range from the bedroom window. Our hosts were gracious and left nothing out of the experience including information on area attractions, restaurants and entertainment. Throughout the booking process and during the stay our hosts provided helpful insights and answered every question promptly. We encourage all who plan to spend a few days or longer in Denver area to seek out and book this HomeAway venue.
