This is The Dragonfly, our Westminster townhouse. Enjoy all that Denver and the Front Range of the Rockies have to offer from this great home base in a quiet residential neighborhood.

This beautifully furnished home features three bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, comfortable couches and cozy gas fireplace in the living room, and a kitchen that has everything you need to create a delicious meal. This is NOT a party house, but rather a peaceful home-away-from-home -- perfect for a family vacation, a girlfriend getaway, or a couples' retreat.

Start your day with coffee and a mountain view. Spend the day exploring Denver -- Downtown is just 20 minutes away, the Denver Zoo and Science Museum about 25 minutes. Take in a play or concert at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Explore the Sixteenth Street Mall, the Capitol, the Mint, or the world of cuisines from the lunch trucks in the Civic Center. Or, head for the hills -- we've got a picnic cooler and camp chairs. Picnic, hike, climb, ski, bicycle....all within a short drive. At the end of the day, sit on the patio and enjoy the majesty of a Colorado mountain sunset.

Dragonfly is 12 minutes from Westminster Promenade, which has selection of restaurants, a huge movie multiplex, and ice arena. Across from the Promenade is the Butterfly Pavilion, a wonderful place to explore nature. Flatiron Crossing is one of the most popular shopping and dining complexes in the Denver area, and is just 15 minutes down the highway.

And, of course, you could always stay in and enjoy the townhouse!

Dragonfly has beds for SIX:

Bedroom/bath #1 is an upstairs master suite. There is a beautiful mountain view from the window, a king sized bed, separate shower and soaking tub in the bathroom, and walk-in closet.

Bedroom/bath #2 is a main floor master suite. Two twin beds can also be made up as a king-sized bed. Bathroom has separate shower and soaking tub, and walk-in closet.

Bedroom #3 is furnished with twin beds and is right down the hall from bathroom #3, which has a tub/shower combination.

Two twin air beds and a futon in the unfinished basement provide sleeping locations for additional people. However, in the interests of safety and comfort, we will not accept any parties larger than 8-10, including children.

There are digital cable television, blu-ray players that allow you to access Netflix or Hulu+ accounts, and wifi. The unfinished basement has a futon, ping-pong and foosball tables. The subdivision has a playground, outdoor pool, and walking trails around three tiny 'lakes'. Access to walking & bike trails and open space area is just a short walk away.

In addition to the beautiful setting and furnishings, The Dragonfly is a gallery for the work of award-winning Colorado artist, Cheryl Berglund. Enjoy the gorgeous artwork in all of the rooms -- or purchase a painting to take home as a reminder of your wonderful stay at The Dragonfly.

MORE THAN WE EXPEXTED

When we first went through the house, we thought this is way more than we expected. The owners added things that we never thought we be included. The neighborhood was so nice and the view was unbelivieable. My granddaughter (3 years old) walked up and down the paths by the 3 ponds everyday. She said that Colorado was so beautiful. The house was also close to everything that we wanted to go to. My family didn't want to leave at the end of the week. I would highly recommand this house to anyone that was staying in the Denver area.

A Fantastic Place

Dragonfly had plenty of space for 7 of us with two very large bedrooms with ensuites as well as a 3rd bedroom and a large basement/recreation room that was able to handle a few extra's as needed. They had everything we needed and more than we expected. Large TV, movies, folding travel chairs, beach towels, table tennis, BBQ, air beds, extra bedding, crib and beautiful decor. Also, the communication and attention to detail throughout our interactions was outstanding. It is located in a quiet residential area just across from a series of small lakes that are a wonderful walk and lovely view. I will highly recommend this to anyone going to Denver.

Perfect Home Away from Home

Two of my adult children and I spent a glorious week at The Dragonfly. We have family in both Boulder and Denver, so it ended up being the perfect halfway spot. The townhouse is beautifully decorated and well-appointed. It is extremely quiet and peaceful. If you are a fan of Indian food, do not miss the Yak and Yetty. Six of us went there, and agreed it was the best Indian buffet we'd ever had. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Botanic Gardens in Denver, and our Celestial Seasonings tour in Boulder. There is just so much to see and do that a week was not really enough. I would recommend The Dragonfly to anyone interested in visiting the highlights of Colorado. The location is ideal and the accommodations will not disappoint! We hope to be back at our earliest opportunity. Thank you, Dave and Tracey!

Perfect for our family of six!

Our family of six (4 kids, ages 9, 10, 11, & 12) found this home to be just perfect for our week-long stay in the Denver area. Tracey was very accommodating and quick to communicate with us. The home is beautifully appointed; the owners seemed to have thought of EVERYTHING. The house is very organized and easy to move into for a stay. We appreciated the "pay it forward" concept of staples being on hand like spices, olive oil, etc.

The town of Westminster was located ideally for our trip-- it's a northern suburb of Denver with easy access to downtown Denver, Boulder, etc.

I can't say enough about this property-- do not hesitate to rent this if you are looking at these reviews-- trust me.
