Cabin, 4 Bedrooms + Bunk Area, 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

This brand new log cabin with all new furnishings is nestled in a wooded mountainside, yet within 5 minutes to Club amenities covered below.

The main floor has a full kitchen with an adjoining dining/den/TV area. Two full bedrooms, each with queen beds are separated by a full bath with walk- in shower and Jacuzzi bath, plus a half bath around the corner.

Off the back is a large covered deck with a new gas grill and picnic table, all overlooking a mountain view.

The lower level has a full bath, full bedroom with queen bed, a bunk bed room plus a rec room with TV and gas log fireplace. A second large covered deck is off this floor, and gives a mountain and wooded view.

The loft is furnished with twin beds and a full bath and shower. Kids love it up there.

Beech Mountain is a self-contained resort. Our membership in Beech Mountain Club allows you to be a guest for all amenities...including a William Byrd designed 18-hole golf course, 10 Har-Tru clay tennis courts, new heated swimming pool with zero entry, lap lanes, and a snack bar. Also bocce ball court, 24/7 fitness center, and private dining at the clubhouse overlooking the golf course, with outstanding panoramic views of 4 states.

Marked hiking trails are great fun for all. See waterfalls and wild game. Go to the Town Rec center for all indoor sports and fun for all. Fish for trout in the ponds or streams.

Near to Beech Mountain are a full array of activities...The Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville Gorge, Linville Caverns, Tweetsie Railroad, live Summer Theater at Lees-McRae college, gem mines, great restaurants, white water rafting, ziplines.....the list goes on and on.

Or if you prefer (and we often do), just a quiet day at the cabin recharging your batteries. A nice beverage and some meat on the grill. Ahhhhhh.

About The Owner

We are retired and live in Charlotte NC. We have another log cabin nearby on Beech and spend almost all summer and fall there, and often visit in the winter with kids and grandkids to ski and sled. Although there is something there for each season, we love to get out of the heat and humidity of summer and "chill out". Beech Mountain is ideal for that. Plus there are so many varied activities on Beech and the environs. We have yet to check off each item on our "must do" list. But we are working on it !

Why The Owner chose Beech Mountain

We have been visiting Beech Mountain for over 30 years as tourists. Among the many mountain areas available, the key reason for us to build at Beech Mountain was elevation. We wanted to be cool in the summer...naturally..without A/C, and when outside. We wanted to be able to play golf or tennis or hike in the middle of the day without intense heat.

At a mile high, Beech is ideal.

What makes this cabin unique

We enjoy going out and exploring for waterfalls, usually hiking in. Then I also relax with some golf with friends. The tranquil surroundings are a relief from the hectic rush of city life, allowing us to recharge our batteries in a great environment.

We were very impressed and happy with this cabin. The pictures dont do it justice. It is absolutley gorgeous. Clean, neat, new, beautiful and very comfortable. We were 7 adults and 3 children. The children loved being in the basement playing games and watching tv after a long day of snowboarding. The adults loved their privacy in the main floor cooking dinner, drinking wine and playing board games as well as having wonderful conversation. Peter, I have absolutley no complaints everything was spectacular. Thank you so much for opening your home to my family. Rest assured, we will always be staying here everytime we visit Beech Mountain!

Great place to stay

I stayed here with my family for some holiday skiing. This is a fabulous place to stay. It has a great location very close to Beech skiing and is a very pretty home. The beds and accommodations are wonderful. Peter is great to work with and very helpful. Highly recommended. I hope to get to stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious home

This wonderful cabin at Beech Mtn is what I consider to be the "perfect" mountain home. It is beautiful, with logs and all wood interior, and is sparkling clean and new. The two living areas are super comfy, and are perfect for having the kids in one area, and the adults can talk quietly in another. My bed was so comfy, I slept wonderfully. I would actually call this a Five bedroom cabin. The bunk beds are in a separate room.... no closet, but who needs a closet on vacay, really? We didn't. The lower level playroom area is very large, and with 2 bedrooms on that floor, two families had real separation, peace, privacy. The main level has 2 bedrooms with an adjoining luxury bath, and my two teen sons took that space and felt really spoiled. I had the top floor, which is large and has a nice bath. Our vacation here couldn't have been better. We truly relaxed and I had a very hard time leaving. The owners were so nice and charming and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Awesome cabin!!

We had a great time visitng this cabin! We had 4 families, with 3 young children & had plenty of space to spare! The downstairs is like an apartment by itself! It is very nicely furnished with all the amenities you could imagine. It's like a home away from home! There is lots to do nearby - including snow skiing right up the street - but we also had a great time just staying there!! The owners are super nice & had great communication with us with several suggestions on what to do & where to eat. I highly recommend staying here. You will love it & won't want to leave!!! :)

Far Exceeded My Expectations!

After viewing many log homes in the Blue Ridge Mountains, I choose this one to take my two sons, ages 5 and 7 based on excellent communication with Peter and Rose Mary. My expectations are high when it comes to cleanliness and overall appeal and this cabin far exceeded mine! The photos do not do this cabin justice. Every detail was taken care of and the cabin beautifully furnished. Peter and Rose Mary went above and beyond to be sure my sons and I had memorable adventures in the mountains. The cabin is centrally located so we were able to go fishing at several lakes, hiked on many nearby trails, took a canoe out on a lake, swam and had a picnic at Wildcat Lake, saw Grandfather Mountain, shopped and dined in Beech and Boone, played all day at Tweetsie Railroad (which I highly recommend for any families with children under 12), and we did all of these adventures in just four days!
If you are like me and hesitate to rent a cabin from someone you don't know, don't hesitate any further! You will not be disappointed with this one! We hope to return in the winter. Thanks again Peter and Rose Mary for providing your cabin for others to enjoy.
